Students tricked into making out with their parents.

It's youtube, so by default, I don't believe this is true.

If this happen to me, I would file charges on my mom. Nope, i'm not joking. So if all these pedo parents were just like "No your honor, I never had sex with my child, we just made out" that would be ok?

When is it prude to have a line of reasoning which says "You shouldn't make out with your child". I my self would put that in the common sense vain

EDIT: To the above, add in grabbing ass and rolling around on the ground making out and maybe 2nd base, but the video it's self is short and goes by fast making it hard to tell..

It's called the Westermarck effect, which theorizes that kids who live close to each other for up to six years (although it can be slightly less) are sexually repelled to each other. However, it does depend - as the case of the Israel kibutzes show, where there are unrelated kids living in close proximity for at least 6+ years, there's still a small but noticeable percentage of kids (say, 5-10% or something) in that situation that are unaffected by this. That's why some scholars I've read have suggested perhaps it's not living close to each other, per se, but the sharing of body fluids and odors - for instance, two siblings who have been breastfed by two different women might not be as sexually repelled to each other than if they were. And even then it seems from what I've read that not all social scientists buy this theory, fully or partially, and it seems there's still quite a lot of debate about the exact nature of the incest taboo, since it varies so much among different cultures - that's not to mention that cousin marriages were (and still are) accepted and encouraged in many parts of the world, although there is no society (save Roman Egypt and Sassanian Persia) where outright sibling incestuous marriage (or parent-child in the case of the latter) was acceptable and even a norm.

Sounds like a bit of banter - likely to offend a lot of people, which just makes it more funny. Hell, they're lucky: most sports clubs do far worse things to their captains at Christmas.

People, for the record this happened in Rosemont, and Rosemount shares more in common with incestous rednecks then anyone else from the proud state of Minnesota.
To paraphrase SNL's impersonation of Gov. Patterson, "If I want to see a bunch of animals having sex, I don't have to watch the Discovery Channel, I just have to go to Rosemount."
That is generaly how people at my school view Rosemount.

I would like to point out that they did this same pep fest thing a few years ago and this didn't happen. I think it is more a case of parents trying to be funny, but failing miserably then anything else.
However, it is also rather icky.
 
Or maybe your definition of "bigot" is just completely off the mark.
 
When I first read the title I thought, "oh god that's just wrong", but having watched the video, it looks like they were all having a lot of fun. From vaguely skimming the OP, I assumed that the parents were blindfolded too and also didn't know what was going on, but it's clear from the video that they were in control of the whole thing. I mean, if you can't trust your own mum to kiss you non-sexually, then who the hell can you trust? They all look as though they were not harmed in any way, i.e. that it was all in good fun, so I don't see the problem.

I wouldn't recommend it for next year though.

While I do not particularly have an issue with related people making out, I do have an issue with.. displaying it like this. If you want to do that stuff, please do it behind closed doors. Do not do it in front of an audience, and do not do it without direct consent from the second party.

With that said, if this had occurred to me (which it would not have, considering how I'd never go to an event like this to begin with), I would have entered a murderous rampage, and would promptly disown my own parent.

Why? You wouldn't even know about it unless somebody went out of their way to expose it. I am more fine with hidden incest than exposed incest.

Apologies.

Generally if things like this occur behind closed doors, sexual activities are involved, in the same way that if you're with your girlfriend, you generally do not stop at a few pecks on the lips if you're in the mood and alone. There were a couple pairs in that assembly that were putting sexual tension into the situation, such as the mother putting her son's hand on her ass and the father rolling on the floor with his daughter, both things you would see in a preparation for a sexual activity.
 
I really want to know what was going on inside of the minds of some of those moms. Wa wa wee wa.
