Well they've grounded all crop dusters in the USA because of the fear of terrorists using them to spray chemical and biological weapons.
They found crop duster manuals in an apartment of a known terrorists. Who also paid lots of money on just flying the planes. Not how to land or take off.....
ect.....
well i say we bomb them now!

Bin Laden is just a pawn.If you are serious you need to look at Syria.Then Iraq and Iran.Libya...a few others.This would most likely result in all out war in Mid East.Bil Laden is just high profile front man/fall guy.

We are extremely vulnerable in an open free society.Water,power...you name it.Its all just sitting there.And these groups are not stupid.They are clever and imaginative.They have to be.We must decide how important our freedoms are.Perhaps the time has come to lose some of them.

I fear anything beyond very selective action will just create more hatred of the west.Another big problem is it almost certainly to late to remove the more serious underlieing problem of poverty.

its a bad situation.Islam is getting a horrible bang out of this.Innocents are dying in the middle of it.I don't see a REAL solution.

And how are US farmers going to manage with crop-dusting?

Perhaps they'll have to resort to other methods...
...methods that we never stopped using here in England.

I'm not saying it should be done,rather if the world is serious these are the places they need to go.Most notably Syria.

With all due respect for the infant killed during that attempt,which was terrible and quite possibly a crime,we must not lose sight of the fact that over 6000 innocent people from all over the world are dead.

There's an airflight training center here in Denver that has 34 flight sims. They suspended the classes, but said that they had no evidence that any terrorist had trained at that center.

Actually, evidence did incriminate them.
Also, after that Quaddafi never tried messing with us again.

We definitely gotta make all crop dusting pilots have to get a special license and get relicensed before theey get in a plane again. This need to include a background check just like for other possibly lethal weapons. Unfortunately a little less freedom is the price we have to pay for safety.

I heard a report that they aren't grounded here in the states, but that before taking off a cropduster must first inform local and state police, the FAA and some other government group, the fbi perhaps.....

They are being cautious about it, make no doubt

He-he. And in Israel, where we never produce enough food, Planes can fly freely. But in order to get a pilot license in Israel you must have a background check. We're very carefull about it. I think that you can't fly here if you have a criminal record. Also, aircrafts aren't allowed to go closer then 50km to an urban areas. Some of you may remember the Lebanonees cessna that was shot down (the first time an Apache took down an aircraft) north of Natanya and Tel Aviv.
I also think that the US can't expect too much Israeli support if they let Syria and Iran into the coalition without stoping Hizzbalah and Islamic Jihad funding. And they should also release the 4 Israelis they captured over a year ago. And release Ron Arad, or at least tell us what happened to him.
Anyway, I believe terrorism should be destroyed from the bottom. In Israel we're trying to find an agreement with the Palestinians that will make them stop their terror. But the US can't compermise with Bin Laden. What will they agree about? "I will destroy only NY, and in return you will be allowed to shoot cruise missiles at Afghanistn"?
