Subdued Animals in C2C discussions

I absolutely love all the animals in C2C, but one I would really love to see included would be the mouflon (wild sheep) - it could build a herd building in cities (with whichever tech it is that allows cow herds, horse herds, pig herds etc.) and have a small 'on kill' % of placing a sheep resource - given that there are pigs, cows, bison in the game that correspond to those resources I do feel we are lacking a sheep - if I were in any way artistic I would have made one but alas I am not.

Also if animals are still being added I would love to see more animals that are local to my part of the world - roe deer or fallow deer perhaps, fox (could have chance of giving fur resource on kill, use to build fur farm), stoat (fur resource, fur farm in city), wild rabbit (rabbit resource, fur farm), grouse or partridge (game birds, similar use as turkeys and pheasants I suppose, although I would also suggest that game birds including pheasants could found a game reserve building in a city for + a small amount of food and coin). We have badgers in the game already which is good. Not many poisionous animals in these parts to use for the poison resource, but we do have adders which are venomous and would make an alternative to the cobra for more northern climates.

@Hydro, you do realise that these will probably not get in game until v25. They are now low priority after bug fixes and my mod's tech tree, although at the moment I am experimenting with the tech tree for RoH.

:( :cry: :please:

1. I will have to check for the mouflon and yes I know what it is. In fact there is a mouflon hunter's camp if you have sheep in the city vicinity. I think I have a Bighorn Sheep and a Mountain Goat. For now you will just have to settle for the in game Ibex.

2a. I have some other deer actually. As well as some more types of antelope and gazelles.

2b. Foxes are on my todo list now that know how to bend the tails down (some models have limbs sticking out).

2c. I have not found any good stoat or weasel models. I may be able to get an otter or civet though. Maybe even a Fisher/Martin or Mongoose. Oh and I am pretty sure I can get a Meerkat.

2d. Rabbits are hard I have some model but they look really bad since they were made from the beaver model. However I do have a Muskrat and possibly a lemming.

2e. I found a weird quail and I have some other ground birds like a Guneafowl, Ptarmigan and some others. I have been holding off since we have a lot of birds and not much to do with them.

2f. I have a dart frog, lionfish and some other snakes on the way. I also want to see if i can get a tarantula in.

We do have an optional "Monty Python" bunny, one swipe from its paw and your knight is history.:lol:

How do you expect to get the RoH camp in if someone doesn't get to understand it?

Through most of my games, crocodiles spawn on dunes, and never move. Giant dune deserts end up littered with crocodiles. This should definitely be changed.

I also think certain terrain should be off limits for some animals, mainly Dunes, Salt Flats, Permafrost, Ice, & tundra.

I am trying to improve it each version. One problem I am currently having is telling oasis from rivers. Which is probably why the crocs are spawning on Dunes.

Salt Flats are off limits to all wild animals, subdued animals can go anywhere.

If I could restrict penguins and walrus to the coastal plots it would be an improvement but we don't have that mechanism yet and it is low priority.

If you see an animal out of place report the individual animal and I will look at fixing it.

btw what has happened again to the Bear Riders horns (pink) i had that solved last time?? Did you use your version or the SVN version when you made your FPK awhile back??

Probably but we may have crossed paths. If you put the art file in the bear rider folder on the SVN then I will get the correct one and everyone will get no pink horns. I can then make the FPK and remove the art folder later.

@Dancing Hoskuld

Here is a rat. For the spawning i listed wheat, barely, rice and corn. Since grain is what they have been historically attracted to.

I think you said you already had one for the disease mod. I am not sure what yours looked like so, perhaps this one looks better.

Is it black, brown or green? The green rat is a food animal in places, although it was replaced by chickens as they also lay eggs as well as provide meat.

Black, but i have a brown, tan and white variant skins if you want them. I have never heard of green rats, however i have heard of glow in the dark rats which are greenish.

@Dancing Hoskuld

Here is a Dart Frog. Their rnage is South America in the rainforest. I think this should get a bunch of new buildings such as a poison related one, myth of the amphibian and an amphibian enclosure.

I also can make other amphibians such as a bullfrog, tree frog, salamander, etc.

Also I am unsure on what to do about the size, I even enlarged it from what it was but it is still tiny. However in real life they are small too. So I am not sure what you want to do about the size.

@Dancing Hoskuld

I have been saving this one up. This is my 100th successfully converted animal! I bring you ...

The Sea Otter!! It was hard to do since I not only had to pose it, but I had to flip it upside down so it looks like its floating on its back in the water!

Also I think it should be able to make myth of the weasel too, since it is in the weasel family.

I hope you all like this. :goodjob:
