Succession game LK5 - America

Waiting - magicbacon - 24 hours

Jaffa Tamarin - GO FOR IT!

You should only need to play seven turns. Just make sure that palace doesn't accidently finish BEFORE fusion.

Hobbes set us up great, and with my ideas, we should get a diplomatic win for this one.:D

Actually took just five turns :)

1906 Egypt complains again about our troops taking shortcuts through their territory. I pay them 10 gold for a RoP, which keeps them happy and quiet.

1908 Some fighting in which we take, and then lose, Pharsalos. We gain a Great Leader!

1910 Playing around with battleships.

1912 Japan and Russia sign peace treaty. Egypt demands Replaceable Parts, which I give them. Many of our cities go into unrest as war weariness hits, big time. I bump the science rate to give us Fission one turn earlier at a cost of 320 gold.

1914 We get Fission :) Salamanca would take 3 turns to finish the UN, so I rush-build it with the leader in Berlin. Salamanca builds the Manhattan Project. Give away all our technology (but still can't get Egypt or Japan better than polite, oh well).

UN vote, America vs Japan. Russia abstains, Japan votes for itself (boo! hiss!), everybody else votes for us.

Diplomatic Victory 1916, score 1704 :king:

  Really couldn't wait to end the game, could you? Use a leader for 2 lousy turns??

:smoke: :smoke: Congrats on ending the game :smoke: :smoke:
This was the last of my first block of succesion games. Since I am working again, running 2 at a time is enough. Of course, at the pace the Babylon game is going I may need to start another soon.
