Donsigopoulis elected by the people to lead Greece. Smarting from the recent rebuff at the hands of the Aztecs the Greek governement government continues upgrading the navy while turning more attention to the domestic crisis looming due to the increased use of factories.
The importation of American spices (for 57 gold/turn) is in jeopardy. Donsigopoulis sends technical advisors to show the Americans how to mass produce the spices. In return Greece gets the spices and 75 gold/turn.
Greeks scientists succeed in getting the first heavier than air vehicle off the ground. There is talk about going to the moon.
The GIA (Greek Intelligence Agency) tries planting a spy in the Aztec capital. The unsuccessful attempt leads to war between Greece and the Aztecs once more. No more wines or dyes imported from Aztecland. This causes rioting in all major Greek cities. Donsigopoulis makes a deal with Elizabeth of England whereby Greek scientics teach English scientists about atoms and such and in return Greek saltpeter is exchanged for fine English furs. This is not enough to stop the civil unrest and the science budget is reduced in favor of more luxuries.
The Greek navy begins bombarding Aztec lands. Donsigopoulis vows to give the Aztecs the war they asked for and is re-elected to another 5 yeard term.
Aztecs and Iroquois make peace. For 2 gold/turn the Greeks arrange for a mutual protection pact with America. Civil disorder in Greek cities finally ended.
The Aztecs and English make peace. Greece stands alone against the dark green menace.
Small Aztec invasion force sunk at sea. The GEF (Greek Expeditionary Force) of 12 infantry, 6 tank and 3 artillery divisions leave Greece.
America declares war on the Aztecs as the naval battle heats up and the GEF lands near Ulundi. Donsigopoulis elected for third consecutive term.
More rioting in Greek cities due to bombardment by the Aztec navy. The GEF attacked and loses one infantry and one tank division on the Aztec beaches. The GIA infiltrates the Aztec capital and discovers that Ulundi is garrisoned by 2 rifle divisions and 4 recuperating cavalry divisions. With this information in hand the GEF captures Ulundi while losing only one tank division.
Rioting in Tepexpan. The ethnic Aztec object to Tepexpan being the base for bombing raids to the south of Aztecland. Silk and rubber trade agreements expire. The Greek government goes to great expense to build a harbor in Ulundi to make the importation of Rubber unneccesary. Donsigopoulis strikes a deal with Bismark. Greek scientists teach the Germans how to build aircraft in return for German silks, 100 gold/turn and an alliance against the Aztecs. Germany promptly declares war on the Aztecs.

Not all Greek scientists are busy teaching Greek secrets to other nations: radio has been perfected and research begun into the secrets of the atomic nucleus.
GEF loses a tank and infantry division to hordes of Aztec cavalry. The GEF destroys two cavalry divisions in return. The GEF receives replacement forces as the roads and railroads north of Ulundi are cut. Donsigopoulis does not even think about peace since there is more rubber to the north of Ulundi as well as wines and aluminum to the south.
Large cavalry force heads for Ulundi. They are slowed by lack of roads and their refusal to attack fortified Greek infantry. They attempt to manuever so as to reach Ulundi from the south.
Iron City built on an island with both iron and coal resources. Position around Ulundi fortified and reinforced as GEF regains strength and counter-attacks Aztec cavalry. Donsigopoulis declines another 5 year term saying, "The war is not over but has entered a new stage and a new leader is needed to guide Greece."
