Shia/Sunni has been talked about before, IIRC the main issue is that one of those (I forget which) would have very few civs that actually run it as a state religion.
Honestly I think I've mentioned it before. That'd be Shia anyway. Apart from Central Asia Shia Muslims make up minorities within Muslim countries across the world. I don't know, it could maybe affect stability or happiness having both present in your cities so it would make it interesting to try and manage that even if there is only one or two Shia civs. At the same time there is only one or two Zoroastrian civs and it's in there. I guess Persia always gets to have its own religion if we were to add Shia Islam, lol.

Suggestion: represent Salalah (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salalah) somehow in the game. I feel like that tile should not simply be a desert tile like the ones surrounding it. Not sure how best to represent it. Perhaps a coastal oasis, or a forested plains tile with a one tile river, maybe even grasslands but that might look too out of place. It is really a unique place on the Arabian Peninsula though, with a totally different climate than the rest of the region.
^ @Leoreth what do you think of this suggestion? If I and/or other volunteers were to implement it, would you accept it as a pull request and merge it into the main mod?
I'll take @Leoreth 's like of this post as a "yes" and will open a thread shortly to kick off this community effort if he says nothing to the contrary.
So that's a "No, please don't expend time and effort on this project at this time"?
Edit: Btw since you renamed the Apollo Program to Lunar Landing, why not rename Manhattan Project to "Nuclear Program" too? Soon all traces of American cultural imperialism will have been eradicated from this mod!
I mean where they are triggered, and what the message is etc. All of that is event specific and needs to be hardcoded to the event, spread all over the code base depending on where the code is that triggers it. Centralising code that does stuff on specific years, both determined at the start of the game and during a game, is one of the things I want to accomplish soon and then adding a warning or the like can be solved with some generic code.
Not to mention that some of the events aren't triggered by year but by specific player actions, so I'm curious what trigger you had in mind to show the warnings. For example discovery of the Americas. Will Amerindian civs get a warning as soon as someone discovers Optics, or what?

I figure for most events you could just tie it to a certain year, with the discovery of Optics by a European civ being the sole exception that comes to mind.
and what is this option ? 'ignore AI UHV checks' ?
if i turn off (red color) this option, then the AIs doesn't ignore UHV ? then do they follow to play in the historical teritory ?

The Ai doesn't play different with this option (un)checked - as far as I know, they don't care about UHVs at all.
With that box normally activated, the game just doesn't check the Ai for their UHV achievements, at all. So they can't accidentally win the game (however unlikely that is) and they don't get 2/3 golden ages (happens sometimes, otherwise). Maybe also saves some time each turn when calculating?
If I'm wrong here, please correct me!
About turning off stability, I also remember that option. Have to check later.
This is not really a suggestion or request, but I did not want to start another thread again, so I just ask here: At what game speed is this mod supposed to be played?

To add onto this the mod is to my knowledge balanced around Normal, but for some of the military goals there is very little room for error on that speed. Epic helps a lot in that regard.
It is already implemented, albeit there are many conditions you need to meet and I think new civ becomes independent (decolonization) and not your vassal.
I have tried to complete the historical goals for civilizations on Paragon difficulty (mainly on v1.15).
Most on normal game speed but some on marathon speed as there is alot of movement involved.
For some goals its simply not possible. These are usually related to research X techs first during a certain era (English, Japan and a few new ones).
Espionage is the way to go to keep science up to par at Paragon difficulty, but it will only take you so far as even with the teach leader.
Sure you can snatch a few first discoveries if you are lucky. But not 8-10 like these goals require.
Would it be possible to replace these goals with something simpler which do not require you to be tech leader for a long time?
