In terms of geographically-defined dynamic names, couldn't they be coded the same way Babylon's "Assyrian Empire" name was when they have their capital in the north? (No idea how that works though...)
It is possible (Assyria requires your capital to be Nineveh or Ashur though). Goals based on capital location are okay generally, it becomes problematic when generally controlled areas have to be checked (i.e. what becomes problematic is the required computing time, not the complexity of implementing it).
But since the capital and even the player don't move their capital so often there isn't that much point.

According to al-Quran, I just found this on a random blog.. there's verse "Uthlubul ‘ilma walaw bish shiin" which roughly means "seek knowledge even if you have to go to China for that"
From that verse, which China is Shiin, I think whenever China become vassal of Arab, or China become Islam.. something related to "Shiin" such as "Emirate of Shiin" or "Protectorate of Shiin" can be added to the dynamic name instead the usual & generic "China" ^^

That would be a good name for an Arabian China, but there is a significant non-arab Muslim population in China already. I'm partial to "Emirate of Xinjiang", even though Xinjiang proper is rarely settled and flips to the Mongols

Chile has never been an empire, only a republic. Also, it would be weird to have an "argentinian" republic of chile. I prefer to not have chile at all.

I don't think Argentina needs a Roman vassal name, but if it were to happen, Patagonia shouldn't have an h. Brazil should have one, and "Amazonia" works quite nice. For Colombia, I have no idea. Not everyone needs a proper Roman vassal name, though the Moors definitely should.
