this looks and sounds incredible but i cant figure out how to get it working. Ive downloaded v1.05 and realize this may only be an update but where can i download 1.0?? also i have put superciv1.05.rar into Crogram files/firaxis/civ4/mods what do i do now? thanks a lot for your help and all the work everyone put into making this!

A .rar file is an archive file (like "zip"). Download WinRAR (it's free) to unzip the contents of that folder to the mods directory.

P.S. I was just thinking about the Ashy Larry skit this morning for some reason.

I change the colors of civ by using the color table.
Exceptions: I didn't changed vanilla civ colors and almost all new civ colors made by their creators (top of head: netherland orange, carthage maroon, texas blue, serbian blue and israel blue). the others original colors were changed very slightly to match colors of the colortable.

do you think i should post the list of the color used?

Cant Hurt, soon as I can figure out how to alter them myself, I have a strong desire to create a Confederate Empire with a good butternut colorscheme since most of the blues and reds are covered.

@MaatzeHH: Yes I did read what he said about it, thats what prompted me to ask. Civarmy has been firing out a lot of civs lately ( a very good thing ) and the next level mod is one package where a good many are already put together. What I was suggesting that it may be easier to add 1 grouping of civs than all those civs individually..

well, it takes a lot of time to upload on a host, and i don't know a better host than rapidshare...

what exactly is your problem with it?

well, I know using the free version you can't use download managers...even though clicking ont eh link always tries to use one!!

I've tried to download from within IE and also with Firefox but with no joy. :-(
