Superevie: The SG of a Lifetime(Regent)

GK, do you really want me to up it, because I can. I haven't created the game yet, there's still time...

It's entirely up to you. It's your game.

I just think you're up to the challenge. Besides if we start losing you can always make "SE2 Superevie's Revenge".;)

Well, what do you think GK? I really actually don't have much experience with SGs.

(Sorry, Hmmmmm, we're all filled up. :( If I could, I would have much more spots for the people who didn't make it in time.)

You could start a 2nd SGs using the same start and play both. :p

You can distinctly see differences in strategies within the same start and I think this will be a good learning experience or at least fun. :jump: As matter of fact, we can have both teams play on the same thread and we can compare notes, much like a crazed party :crazyeye:

I'm lurking this one since there is no more space.

Man, I don't think I have enough time for two SGs. :p

Technically, it's one SG (same start) you just play twice as much.

Just a thought. I may work something along this line on my very own SG. :crazyeye:

As for civs, I've never played as the Aztecs. With their extremely early UU and GA, they may be a challenge.

Well it's completely up to you. You could say bump it up to monarch, & leave it as a no varient game. Or leave it at regent & do something like "No wonders", "No research", "No trading", "Can't start a GA with a unit", "No colonies", "No wars before AD", ect..

Whatever you want. It's your game. :)

[edit]- Surprisingly, I've only played with the Aztecs once. Their Milit/Relig traits are a good combo, but not the strongest & the Jags force you to get a GA before you leave despotism. Probably a good choice(I was pondering Abe as well), the only problem is that Jags have a tendancy to win or lose the game for you very quickly.

Hmmm.... I may just leave it be. As for civs to pick, anything but the Aztecs. They are really hard to play for me. :p

They're hard for everyone, that's why I thought they would be a good choice.

Aztecs are EASY to play... the early the cheap jag warrior allows you to get around the map fast... and you can knock out atleast 2-3 civs at the start of the game. I've played on tiny maps before and got Domination victories before I litature was even researched.

Sooooo... maybe that wouldn't be a challenge :D

What would be a challenge? This is after all "The SG of a Lifetime"

Hmm. Ok what traits do we want?

[edit]- Or make that what does everyone consider the worst possible trait combo?? Xpansion/Commercial maybe??

I would prefer Industrial... that is the only one I *want*. I have trouble playing with non-industrial civs.

Also, Remind me never to post while playing a PBEM... my last post in this thread is badly typed.

I think we should go for the worst possible civ. How about expansionist on an archipelego map?

Strider - don't post while playing a PBEM :D

seesh... sounds like were trying to lose the game here...

If you guys really want to screw me up... Don't play a commericial or industrial civ. I have big problems playing with a non-industrial civ... and I'm the one who wrote the Effective Commercial Management strat Article... so... I can manage the commercial trait pretty effectivly.

How about this we play the Zulu... expansionist, militaristic on a 'pelago map?

The expansionist trait is wasted, and we won't really get to use our UU unless we share an island with someone.

That would be a challenge. :mwaha:

I like the way you think bugsy.:D

Besides, I VERY rarely play as the Zulu.

Personally, I vote against any civ that has the industrial or scientific traits. These are IMHO the strongest by a longshot.

Superevie: whats your opinion on the starting civ/traits??
