I shall play my turns tonight.

Sorry guys, got called into work last night. I'm leaving in a few minutes (yeah, it was THAT long of a shift, ugh). I'll play tonight after I put my son to bed.

Allright, I need to ask for a skip. I JUST got home, and I'm beat. And I'm leaving in the morning for a trip back home... I can take up a turn Wednesday next week, earliest. My apologies. Work is just kicking my ... well, you get the idea.

No probs Dar. Hang in there brah. I got it.

The times were very quiet within the Malinese empire. Very few things occured as the people were in a peaceful mode. Gathering fish in nets became a staple food in Timbuktu. Another city with fish was established west of the city on the great floodplains.

Rumors of a great engineering marvel were rumored in a faraway land called the Pyramids. The development of priesthood brought great joy to the Hinjews and a new way of transcribing thoughts was being developed by these great priests.

Some pictures were drawn by the great skirmishers. Here's an account of what happened.

There was great barbarian attack upon our people

Though damaged, this was the final outcome of our great warrior taking out the barbarian hordes. Our skirmisher has a promotion coming when the future great leader needs fit.

The heathen geeks are planning to aggressively settle somewhere near our cities...

Summary
Not a lot of great land left so hopefully the Geeks won't settle the copper to our north. A thought on cottages. I think it's better to build them on grasslands since they already have 2 food vs. plains which have 1. Plains can be useful when farmed instead. We may consider alpha to trade with the Geeks but I would suggest we head straight towards optics (unless they won't trade IW) afterwards so we can meet some new friends.

BTW I tried using autologger and it wouldn't load for this game and I don't know why. Drag....

It was the year 550 BC when Locky the First ascended the throne of the Malinese Empire. A man trained in true Mali warrior tradition and a faithful Hinjew, Locky was tasked with the expansion of the Empire, and protecting its lands from the dispicable Greek. In the 525 BC the a tribal leader named Barboa ralied a force of babarian scum in defiance of the Malinese ruler. The 2nd Legion of Skirmishers were ralied, and in 500 BC the Malinese army met the babarian leader and his men at the foot of the mound north of Kumbi Saleh. Locky led the Skirmishers into the battle killing 20 of the babarians himself. It was a bitter defeat for the babarian forces, crushed into oblivion . Locky raised the Malinese flag in triumph and proclaimed, "Let all here today remember that anyone who defies the Mali will met the same end as this scum, broken and alone with no one to bury their bodies." Cheers erupted from the troops, Locky had won the hearts of his troops. The bodies of the babarians were left to rot and be picked at by the birds. In 450 the Greek city of Delphi was founded west of the copper ore, which Locky new was a sought after prize for the Greek infedels. In an attempt to shut of Delphi from the rest of the Greek Empire Gao was founded on the north west coast, south of Sparta. At 350 BC Machiavelli names the Mali the most cultured in the world. The Malinese Empire continued to grow to the end of Locky I's reign.

nice short story, Locky :goodjob:

So, is it BotlGnomz who is up? I'm assuming so, since Locki just finished his turnset.

I'm out from today Dec. 14th through Sunday Dec. 18th.

It would appear SW is up but Gnome was skipped so maybe either would be the best choice. :p
