System requirements are out!

Doubtful, as the GPU is only about a third as powerful as the 450 that's listed as the minimum on the nVIDIA side. Which unfortunately is a lot less powerful. You can always buy post-launch and try, and use a Steam Refund if it doesn't run acceptably (IIRC you can only do a refund if you've played less than two hours). But if I had to put money on it, I'd say it's too far below to run.

I would say questionable, but perhaps acceptable if you really are okay with minimum settings + resolution. You're in the range of 70% of what they state in hardware resources for GPU, which means it's necessary to expect rather slow graphics, but there's a much better chance of "acceptable" than with the 420M.

I just canceled 25th aniv edition... and will try it first in steam. I have nvidea gt 430 4gb but probably not enough to run it..

Modders please help us (low end PC users) so that we would be able to play this awesome game :please::please::please:

2GB RAM
Intel(R) HD Graphics
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3540 2.16GHz
:badcomp::badcomp::badcomp:

Sidenote:
I have already pre-ordered.

No disrespect mate, but are you really expecting to play a late 2016 AAA game with those specs?

Does anyone have idea what specs would be enough to play game on maximum details in 1080p resolution, standard map (8civs) and game speed?

Its the only way I play it, never go Epic on Huge, and do not even consider longer games...

Recommended settings are for highest resolution, large map and long games.

Civ6 is very different in requirements, depending on preffered game conditions, not just resolution, and there seems to be very little or no info on different needs for different game set-ups.

You cannot tell. Recommended specs for Civ 5 are far away from what you actually want to have to be able to play the game really comfortably. Requirements for Civ 6 may be far from being accurate too.

I cannot tell, lot of people cannot, but there must be someone with an educated guess? :)

I am building new PC, but only play Civ (and Fifa on PS4), and would like to invest as little as needed. It is not bad, if I overinvest a bit, but not too much...

Just wait two days and you will know much more when NDA is gone for youtubers.

2K does have a habit of making the 'recommended' settings too low. So it's plausible that the recommended settings won't handle the largest maps with full graphics on.

NDA as non disclosure agreement? like real testers provide real early game videos, played in late game as well, on their machines?

will wait for sure, someone will write about it, anyway :)

he meant:

Modders can't mod the game engine.

so you need a new PC to play the game.
I see. But can't you modify the graphics (e.g. shadows and stuff like that,,, i mean there are mods that can improve the performance of some games for example skyrim)... Sorry, just desperate to be able to play this game...

What exactly they are able to show is under nda itself.

Maddjinn, without disclosing too much, should we wait with PC build up, until your reviews? :)

I suppose you will be among mentioned youtubers?

Btw, thx for great videos, with you and Marbozir, I became very comfortable on Deity :)

Doesn't matter what they are able to show. It matters what they can tell. And if they cannot tell about game performance then it's probably the worst marketing thing that can happen to the game. It would be like saying "we are selling a trash and don't want you to know about it until you actually buy it". Seems rather impossible.

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to PC specs. Can anyone tell me whether I will be able to play the game at an acceptable pace with...

Intel i7 3520M (2,9 GHz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000

...and the rest of the specs fairly well covered? Or am I out of luck?

Thanks a lot!

My machine is fast but graphics card is slow .. any thoughts whether or not the game is playable w/a GTX 745 (assume rest of system is strong)
