I included your desired civ from the other pitboss instead, so yes you pick a new civ.Where'd my Darius go? are we picking new civs?
New map, and the only civs available are for the people who signed in for the test game. game can't progress unless all the slots are filled.
Yes I would try logging in again, but first, Make sure you are logged in to Hamachi

I'm on what appears to be either a tiny island or a peninsula, fine.
MY BFC HAS ZERO RESOURCES. It's not just a bad start. There is not a single seafood. I don't even have a plains cow..............................nothing.
Unless this is true for everybody, this is not playable.

Since I am respawning, can everyone who is playing go ahead and verify what Civ and leader you want to play with. Unrestricted leaders/Civs.Hopefully this way we can get going with no civ or map problems.
@remake - Can you get onto the WWW? I just tried pinging you and either you are not connected to Hamachi or the Pitboss is turned off.
I am at work so I will check this evening to make sure that the Pitboss did not restart for an automatic update or something like that.
The silver lining is this gives everyone time to pick new Civs, and say what settings they want if any.
Not sure what happened with TMIT's start, will try to make sure that does not happen this time.

I'll take churchill of Mali. I'm not sure on the settings because you're using a randomscript map, which can be very good or awful depending on what's picked

I do know that a capitol without any resources is not kosher though
. I saved a screenshot, so when I do an upload batch I'll try to remember to post it here. It probably wasn't an island, just a thin peninsula, but I had very little options. If we played that game I'd have had no choice but to blow 5+ turns moving in hopes of a better capitol and not getting warriorraped.
