Structure of the Society
The economy and politics of the Society is largely constructed along a variant of a syndicalist socio-economic system with the most powerful unions and cliques that form it being the Enclaves, which are collections of city emergency service, bureaucracy, elected leadership, and security services, the Universities, a collection of scientists and engineers, and the Operators, an alliance/collective of drone operators and clandestine agents. As membership in any one of these cliques and syndicates do not immediately disqualify an individual from membership in another, multiple overlaps exist in the society. Individuals are free to join any number of cliques and societies as long as they can abide by the various rules, laws, and regulations that each syndicate may demand and indeed, it is rare for anyone of importance within the Society to be simply part of one syndicate.
Central government of the Society features both elected leadership (through direct democracy) as well as delegates designated by each of the syndicates and cliques within the Society, with the number of delegates allotted for each groups of interest dependent upon the amount of population and their contribution to the Society. Each group of interest may use whatever method they please to elect, or designate, their delegates.
The central government of the Society is entrusted with the power to resolve disputes between groups of interests when they arise, organize pan-Social economic initiatives, and perform interventions within the Society.
Central Leadership Structure
The supreme leadership of the Society is the elected First Speaker, who sets the agenda of the Society and organizes meetings and cooperation between the various groups that make up the Society in order to pursue these agendas. The executive powers of the the First Speaker is concentrated around its own volunteer clique of Operators, bureaucrats, engineers, and of course, the only collective of Killers in the Society.
Bureaucrats: The Society's central bureaucracy is a clique of its own, who usually select and promote members and agents of its own with minimal direction and input from the First Speaker, although they are usually obligated to follow the Speaker's directive. The bureaucrats usually handles tax collection and cataloging and quantifying other contributions each groups of interests make to the Society, as well as ensuring that living, educational, safety, and infrastructure standards are met between the the various groups of interests within the Society. The Bureaucracy is also in charge of allocating budget of the Society towards the First Speaker's agenda and others necessary for the continued functioning of the Society. Many enclaves and other groups of interests volunteer their own clerks and bureaucrats, or at least observers, into the Bureaucracy, although the clique still fiercely maintains its own impartiality. Discussion chambers within the Bureaucracy is a lively place of almost constant debates among the Bureaucracy's higher leadership with regards to how to best allocate the Society's resources. University cliques and bigger Enclaves often hold great power and sway within the Bureaucracy.
When the Bureaucracy itself is suspected of being corrupted by an agenda hostile to the greater Society, First Speaker and the Council is capable of scheduling an intervention in which the elected leadership may authorize and demand a replacement of the Bureaucracy's current leadership.
Important sub category of the Bureaucrats include:
-Infrastructure Inspector
-Tax Collectors
-Educational Quality Inspector
-Corruption Inspector
etc
Mediators: The Mediators are a clique formed entirely out of volunteers from various security forces of the Enclaves in the Society, deployed in case of grave emergencies to any Enclave who desire it as well as enforcing the decree and agenda of the First Speaker and their council. Their primary function is to mediate disputes between the Enclaves and other groups of interests, as well as enforcing and maintaining basic human rights and protection for every member of the Society regardless of their affiliation to any cliques.
The Cabal: A clandestine group of drone operators and espionage agents with a public face. Even though much of its work is classified, the Cabal interestingly interacts on a regular basis with the general public, educating and informing them on security measures and other recommended steps for each individual to take to increase the security of the Society as a greater whole. Many interventions within Society are conducted under the leadership and recommendation of the Cabal, which is understood as doing whatever it takes to advance the interests of the greater Society.
The Killers: Are the military arm of the Society for those who made the unusual life choice of soldiering in the Society, although the actual membership of the Killers may also be extended to various drone operators and weapons developers within the Society itself. A martially focused syndicate, they usually cooperate heavily with the Cabal and the Bureaucracy and is powerful in the border regions of the Society. Unlike other cabals and syndicates that form the central governance, the Killers are explicitly and fully under the control of the Council and the First Speaker.
The Council: Composed of the First Speaker and the Delegates, the Council is the primary machine through which the Society generates political capital it needs to affect internal change. The Council sets the agenda and recommends the budget for the Bureaucracy and other executive arms of the government. The Council is also empowered to decide disputes if the Mediators fail to resolve a dispute between two groups of interests--by decree and enforcement by the Cabal if necessary. It is also the only institution capable of authorizing a mass-scale intervention on entire groups of interests.
There are almost no legal or constitutional limit to the kind of agendas the Council may set and recommend to the various bureaucratic arms of the Society.

Economics and Politics in detail:
Primary unit of legality and jurisdiction within the Society are the Enclaves, which are communes, townships, and cities which subscribe to and send taxes to the central government of the Society. While each individual Enclave may have vastly different rules, regulations, and benefit for its members, simply living in the area administered by an Enclave and paying taxes to the group is sufficient to automatically qualify for a membership.
Enclaves are often organized by tiers, with each increase in tier leading to both increase in obligation due to the group and the benefits received. For instance, a member of the Enclave may decide to work for the Enclave's emergency services, infrastructure repair, or other necessary work for the continued functioning of the Enclave in order to receive benefits (such as money).
Enclave leaderships are decided based on the rules that govern said particular enclave. For example, one enclave may elect its leaders democratically, while for others it may be a promotion based upon a board of directors of some kind.
Each individual enclaves may adopt similar rules and regulations as well as pull together resources to form a Commonwealth, although membership to such an organization is strictly voluntary and policed rather heavily by the Mediators.
Cliques and Syndicates are the secondary organization and structures with which the people of the Society organize their lives around. These may be political affiliations, but usually takes form of a union of tradesmen and other cooperatives with usually much more stricter regulation than an Enclave may impose upon its citizens. University Cliques may, for instance, require its members to take a certain seminar or courses or otherwise participate in the spreading of knowledge, whileas a drone manufacturing syndicate may require a certain amount of work hour and labor.
While there is almost no limit or structure behind what a syndicate or a clique could be, nationalistic or religious organizations have been repeatedly barred from registering as so.
