Term 6 President's Thread

My misunderstood then, I thought you meant to grow pop size and after that resume settler builds.

No problem kuningas. I am not always clear. :)

I was mainly talking about the last 2.

Kia Ora has been stagnant for a few turns, since i've been working the plains hill, i figured it would be better to get the granary built before a rise in pop to make use of it. As for the others its settlers and workers.

After these builds while we let the cities grow a bit i will put some infrastructure into place

We can change civics again in five turns. What if we adopt Caste System and Pacifism then. Extra cost is +6 gpt, look at picture number 1. is current situation and number 2. is what it would be after civics swap. +100% GPP production gains to us lots of advantage. Just using simple logic in 50 turns we pay 300gpt in civic costs but in other side we would have 2-3 great scientist each contributing ~1500 beakers :goodjob:

Hmmm...intersting hurt us gnp wise for GPP. Gettign ~3000 to 4500 beakers at 300 gold.

BRILLIANT

Interesting idea, but we need a religion first:)

which we would have robi by bulbing philosophy :)

we get one free missionary with philo which we can spread wherever we want religion first :)

so lets get philo...as soon as possible.

hence why kuningas was requesting a second scientist in kia ora before, right now we should have one in about 13 turns i think (doing this from memory)

Exactly, which will be a while anyway, thats something for the next president to consider. Also would we get enough beakers from using a GS? Philo is 1144 and i didn't think you got more than 800-900 from bulbing GP's

Turn 114 25 BC - Nearly in the AD's:)

In Aloha Today
Piffle send for Maths and CS
*cough* nominations *cough* :)

Cities
Aloha(5) - Settler in 3, Growth Stagnant
Hello(4) - Worker in 3, Growth Stagnant
Hej(4) - Settler in 4, Growth Stagnant
Kia Ora (2) - Granary in 36, Growth in 9
Privet(1) - Forge in 111, Growth in 1

Workers
Plumber - Moves 3 N, 1 NE
Builder - Finishes road
Brick Layer - Moves 3 N, 1 NE
Carpenter - Clear Jungle in 3
Electrician - Moves NE, 2NW, Starts forest chop, finished in 3

Sirians Eyes runs into water again, has to take a detour (sorry forgot screenie)
Here's a look at our Northern cities. Axe is moving out to Guten Tag location near Hej. Near Privet our Axe is moving to intercept a barb axe.

Here's the latest from the Black Hole scouting party. Seems like another bay so far. More to follow

Piffle asking for maths and CS indicates they have agreed to the deal. Also for those that haven't been going into the game, we haven't been running as much gold lately as i have focused on food and production to get the settlers out asap. The estimated time for Music is more like 11 turns.

GS gives 1,5 multiplier for lightbulbs. That's why GS is better than other GPs when doing lightbulbs. Total beakers are something like 1000 base beakers plus 2 * population (+ * 1,5 if GS).

Turn 115 1 AD

In Aloha Today
Piffle send for Calandar

(left) Nearly everything in place for Guten Tag (right) Why i hate this game sometimes, the barb axe had a 1.1% chance of killing our axe, which he did retaining a strength of 3.7:mad:

Turn 116 25 AD

In Aloha Today
Piffle send us Currency (their working quickly all of a sudden)

Cities
Aloha(5) - Settler in 1, Growth Stagnant
Hello(4) - Worker in 1, Growth Stagnant
Hej(4) - Settler finished, Aquaduct in 10, Growth in 2
Kia Ora (2) - Granary in 34, Growth in 7
Privet(2) - Forge in 27, Growth in 11

Workers
Plumber - Starts Forest chop, finished in 3
Builder - Finished road
Brick Layer - Moves W, 2NW
Carpenter - Finished Clearing Jungle
Electrician - Moves W, NW, N

Barb warrior near hej killed without fuss. Barb Axe near Privet due to its previous fortune at 4.7 with 2 strength promo. Given that it must have used up its luck in the last battle and its still slighty injured i attack with stregth 1 axe in Privet and manage to kill it. So we survive that barb raid but we need to get some more axes built.

Piffle send us Currency:) Their galley enters Aloha bay.

I change around the worked tiles in Aloha for more gold without slowing the settler build.

Also this is the current schedule. Guten Tag settled turn 118, Ciao settled turn 119, Aquaduct built in Hej turn 120, Hanging Gardens in Hej appox. 133. I figure even if someone builds it before us we will get enough gold to run at 100% for a while.

Here is the new discoveries from AS Black Hole

looks good so far.

Putting a city across the ocean on that spit of land will give us another expansion location and serve as a forward base if we find other civs on that land. It would also stop them from placing a city there to watch our troop and ship movement via ocean. Put the city some where on there where we can us it as a canal to go to the other side of the land. We wouldnt even have to invest much in it. Build a lighthouse so that it could be just a commerce center that pays for itself. We garrison it with troops built from the mainland.

Good idea, like it... But bring the scout there first and see if theres barbs nearby...

if and when we do it...we bring a settler and an ax... let the scout keep checking things out. we could find the long lost iron resource.

YEp that is ivory...and its near one of the locations I sugggested.
