Term2 - Domestic Department: Governing through the Force

Neutral Leader was elected as the governor of Bohemia, the Capital Province. A border proposal was passed with names preapplied to the provinces. It was specifically noted that names in all of the proposals were strictly to make it easier to refer to the different areas. That does not kick neutral leader out of the capital province.

Neutral Leader is the elected governor of the capital province and will remain as such no matter what things are or are not named. The other provinces that have been created are under the control of the Domestic Leader for now.

The capital province is still called Bohemia and will remain Bohemia until a legal renaming occurs.

And as such, i would recommend the following:

1) i as lord mayor of bavaria am obsolete
2) neutral leader should be the governor of the capitol province
3) i propose the mayors of valhalla and the mayor of morgana to be temporarily promoted to governors of the respective provinces until next elections
or alternative 3):
immediate pre-election of governors for all provinces with them running 1.5 terms instead of 1
4) i would apply as mayor of morgana as i now have no mayorial job any more?

i just realized:
the border poll didnt even reach the quorum! so no borders are decided at the moment.

Okay. Where Barvaria is is Bohemia. Valhalla has province #2 (gov/name needed) and Morgana has Province #3 (see valhalls ()s)

I care, a lack of information here left me unable to do a thing during my second governorship last game. Provincial borders are the most important thing to be decided.

What many don't remember is that General Haig was also Nixon's Chief of Staff, and was rumored to be one of the suspects to be Deep Throat in Watergate.

Back on topic....let's get these borders defined. All of our leaders need to start leading...

I formally request that the Domestic Leader take leadership in the process of defining borders and post a legally binding official poll to move this process along.

Is a poll required to establish borders, or can the Domestic Leader simply use the previous, informational poll as justification for his decision?

If a poll is required, can we consider the previous poll as the "proposed poll post", thereby fulfulling the requirement for posting the proposed poll 24 hrs in advance? Furthermore, can we then select only the top three choices and allow it to run for four days (or until quorum is met), or will those changes invalidate the poll?

I believe that a leader may choose to rely on a informational poll for guidance if there is sufficient response and a clear indication of the will of the people.

At this point I would settle for any kind of leadership in this mess.

And you dislike the poll?
Okay.. Give me 10 minutes. I will come up wiht a poll that contains the following:
A capitol province, which NL will govern. Morgana and Valhalla will be in the same province, to be goverened by me until the elections.

Domestics Desicion.
Were doing a one day quick poll, with 40Js Capitol Province, Chieftess's Nordic Gems, and the lousy Abstain.
The poll will run for 24 hours. Its decision is final.

Since I see no build queues, and the TC is tomorrow, I propose these queues:

Ok, my updated plan:

Valhalla: settler (1), settler (6), (start a settler if the war is going well, otherwise barracks for swordsmen - maybe a temple if there's enough support...)
Bavaria: warrior (2), warrior (2), spear (4), swords
Morgana: continue swords until further notice.
New City #1 - (place worked tile on the spice) spear (7-10), (place worked on mined tile after its' finished), start on granary
New City #2 - (place worked tile on forest-game) Granary (16-20 - 16 if we mine the cattle).

Continue roading the forest SW of Bavaria, then road the forest west of Morgana with both settlers. Then, depending on where our 2nd city it, mine the grasslands west of the eastern city, or, road the game on the western city (hill) - mine/road cattle afterwards.
