Question is if the effect of difference in the Texture Pack is too extreme or not?
I reworked some textures and in the mean time converted the mod to a DLC in order to achieve some things that I really wanted to have ingame.
So it turned out that there is much more possible by using a DLC mod, instead of using a simple mod.
I really wanted to have better textures for those Landmark Wonders and I was able to alter it finally.
Unfortunately I was not able to find out how to alter the silver ore, but I guess the result is OK...

Since I converted the mod to a DLC it is much easier to see texture changes ingame, because the game seems to block some changes if you try to apply them via a mod. Please please please let me know if you find a way to retexture (or even remodel!) forests and jungles.
There is a guide for converting a mod into a DLC. However I had some database issues that are known and that should be harmless, but I decided to do my own DLC.Is there a reference explaining how to convert a mod to DLC?
Thank youExcited to try it. Thank you so much for breathing life into the visuals!
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment.Wonderful mod and concept, this is the first time I see a Blue-Marble-like mod in Civ5 (then again, I shouldn't have compared both wonderful mods alike)
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment.
I played a little bit with the water depth color. I tried to change the look to a more CIV VI like color.
Vanilla water:
Shifted only the color balance to a more blueish color:
Shifted the color balance like in the picture above, but also decreased brightness by 25%:
What do you think guys? Should one of those two be a part of the Terrain Texture Enhancement?
Last one looks real nice. I also see you are using SSAO now, looking good.

Yes at first I was favoring the second picture, but that changed over timeI prefer the third one personally, though both a pretty good.
Until there is another thing I would like to mod, I am pretty fine with the result. I am pretty sure that if I start a game and play for some turns, I will find something that looks just.. nääääähh!I must agree with the posters above. I really like the direction you're going with this, Estebanium.
