It's a Lobby, so all weapons are permitted unless specifically banned by the server administrator. Last time I checked, I could use a pomson when we were screwing around 3v3.
Although there is a chance that it is still using UGC highlander rules, which does ban all new weapons until the TF2 community at large has adapted to them, since he registered his own Highlander team a while back. I'm pretty certain he used one to host a UGC match because I was in it. I know for a fact that UGC banned them a month ago. Not sure about now.

Most extra weapons are banned. (There's a couple like The Original that aren`t.)
All the same, I wasn't expecting our casual game to have as strict rules; all the same, I'm not quite used to the new new weapons. I wouldn`t mind either way though.

My experience with trying to organize large groups of people together is to set a time when many people as usually free (Saturday night per-say). And then set a time Saturday night and play at that time every Saturday. If you can't make it that's fine, there's always next week and if you can make it, great! I think if we just keep trying to find times, we're never going to play.
