The advanced ballistics tech quote....

When ive looked at civ v guides, ive always seen this given as the advanced ballistics quote:

"Once the rockets are up, who cares where they come down?"
--Tom Hehrer

Yet on my version the quote i get is:

"Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men"
--Martin Luther King Jr

Is this a regional thing with the version of my game?

I've only ever heard the second one; so ya I'm guessing a regional thing. Out of the two I think I prefer the second one.

Lehrer. From his famous (possibly notorious) song "Werner von Braun".

Yes, I get that too. I haven't seen the Lehrer quote mentioned anywhere, and to be honest I'm glad - being very familiar with the song it would feel wrong to me done as a dry voiceover.

How interesting, I've only heard the quote from the song about Werner von Braun (the first one).
Although I must say the second version is also nice, even better

Hmm.. Just had a look in the assets (TechAdvancedBallastics.mp3) and it is the second one. My mistake.
I guess I've read about the first one then and thought I had it too.
But no, I have the second one.

Ah, found it.
The Werner von Braun quote is from Ballistics (TechBallistics.mp3), the MLK-quote is from Advanced Ballistics (TechAdvancedBallastics.mp3) (did you notice the spelling mistake?)
That's where I heard it But Ballistics isn't in the game anymore/yet?

It was probably changed in one of the patches then and people just didn't notice it at the time.

I remember for sure having the first quote, but can't remember if I have seen the second quote. First quote sounds more familiar but sounds like a patch maybe (rarely reach that tech because I win/lose the game normally before it).

There are I believe four techs that have their remains present in the game files.

Calculus
Ballistics
Patronage
and Printing.. or Publishing..
