Hello, and welcom to The Bank. Excuse the unoriginal name, but this bank will be made in DG4. This is a place where you can throw around ideas about the bank, what you want it to do, how you think it should do it, etc, etc.

So far, here is the status for the next bank.

Income:

gpt = gold per turn

Each citizen receives a base 100gpt.
Being a department leader etc. adds to this:

President/RPG Manager +100gpt
Department Leader/Gov/Rpg Sub-Manager +75gpt
Citizen Honors/Low Government poistion (mayor etc.) +50gpt
Non-Government offical/Low RPG offcial (citizen honors manager etc.) +25gpt

There will be three bank managers, which so far are:
Great Iguanaman
Strider
CivGeneral

A balanced economy, where the amount of money in circulation is kept track of, is what we area also going to try to do. This will obvioulsy change as the game progresses, based on either technology, access to gold, etc, etc.

All of the above are statements are debateable and subject to change. Feel free to argue away.

I was thinking that each turn somebody get's the "extra" income.. it brings more money into the economy (More money is printed).

how about every time someone posts a substantial post in a story thread (not a one-liner), they get paid a small sum, e.g. 10 or 20 gold. To stop spamming, maybe we could pay one long post, lets say 50 lines long, much more than ten posts five lines long.

It'll be far to hard to count all of the new posts.

you find someone to build a database for this, and the demogame website would be happy to host this and any other venture for the rpg

what about a completely different idea? a fixed economy.
we use a predefined amount of money circulating in the economy. based on the number of users officially being registered as rpg players for example.
the amount of gold in the economy can also be based on the amount of gold-production in the demogame. the more gold-tiles we own, the more money circulates.
