Alright everyone, I finally got my old computer hooked back up. Everything looks like it is still there and working well so I am pretty happy about it. I have realized, however, that I am quite rusty at modding, so I think I should amend my "end of January" deadline to mid February.

Anyway, I looked around and found that Arpad and Bhutto are nearly finished, Medici and Harun al-Rashid are halfway finished, I have a base for Shah Abbas, and the Hungarian Crown I am working on for Cool is pretty close to completion too. Here is an image of what I have for Medici so far, just to show you guys I again have access to my stuff...

...so that's what is going on right now. If I have missed or forgotten anything I was supposed to be working on please remind me. I've been out of the game for a while.

Well, I have got together with Cool and we are going to finish up some half-finished Hungarian LHs. That is coming up next, like very soon, I promise...

Here's what I have right now for Arpad. I didn't show the textures because they are unfinished but here is a solid look at what he will look like. I added more fur and took away some of the armor that he had before as per Cool's suggestions (he was really heavy on the furs in his PM). So anyway, here he goes...

...I am hoping to finish up on this LH very shortly since he is mostly finished. I need to add textures/effects to the Turul on top of his helmet. We are also working on another LH so hopefully they can be released together. But we shall see.

Out of curiosity, how goes the Harun al-Rashid LH? Thats an LH I really cannot wait to be released, as a good one has been lacking for a LONG time....

Well, it isn't as great as it seems. Although if she read that, it would probably get a lot worse a lot quicker. It is just that this is kinda my hobby and I noticed that my girlfriend basically doesn't have any hobbies (besides hanging out with me of course), so I probably shouldn't have said "girls." The only reason I posted that is because I sat down to start working on Arpad and get him finished up, and right then she calls and asks to come over.

Anyway, I have a folder in my computer of WIP LHs. Right now Harun al-Rashid is there, Bhutto, Lorenzo d'Medici, and of course Arpad are all on the docket. I also have a Hittite LH in the works but I just looked at it again and it seems that, at whatever point I stopped working on it last, I was torn between which direction to go in because there are two really different looking bases. So we shall see about that one. Just so you know I also have a mod I work on, so that's been consuming a lot of my time.

I think Árpád is looking promising! The amount of fur is pretty okay now, I'd just move the feather a bit to the side. Maybe also switching the featcher to something I used for the old version (or better said nitram added). But that depends on how it looks textured. The way it is now is closer to what is oftenly shown on depictions.

Hope Absinthe gets motivated this ways to continue translating

I can only say what I usually do in all my posts directed to you:
Hope you will be able to find some more time on your LHs, and hopefully somewhere in the near future
Most of them were among the best provided by the community...

Well, as far as community projects go I'd rather save the LHs I said I would make to myself. Mainly because I already have ideas for them and all that good stuff. Having said that, I wouldn't mind posting Benazir Bhutto if somebody wanted to finish her. I didn't necessarily sign up to help Bernie finish it, he just seemed to have already started on her and never finished (I am assuming he moved on to CiV or whatever), so that I can post I would just have to take a look at what I had already.

I'll post that in a bit actually.

I'm really hoping I can get Arpad finished tonight. The next closest LH to being completed after Arpad would be Lorenzo, and then Harun al-Rashid.

It just sucks that I have so much to work on that it appears I am getting nothing done, especially after those damn ancient Dutch units I created don't work. I also plan on releasing a set of units too, which will include some ancient Egyptian units, some Irish Revolution units (that can be used as Celtic units I suppose), and some great people, possibly more because I forget what I have created. So I intend on getting some new material out soon.

EDIT: I mean to reply to what Cool said too. I have never been a big fan of making the LHs look too realistic, because I like them to look "Civ-like" if that makes any sense, so Arpad won't be entirely historically accurate. He will look good though, you'll like him.

Don't worry about that, it's one of the reasons why I like your LH style.

For your work progress, don't let it bother you for our sake, we can wait. But I guess it's already unsatifying on its own

Thanks for the support guys, it helps. I promise tomorrow to at least get an in-game shot of Arpad up (I only say that because, as other LH-makers can tell you, it is usually not ready when you first think it is), I think I want to make one more change to the one I have right now, but this change requires me to redo the entire torso, which sounds worse than it really will be.

I would really appreciate it if somebody else could take up the reigns on Bhutto, it is nearly done so it shouldn't be a problem, I just have so many things to do with this mod and the stack of LHs I have now. Abbas and Jefferson are barely started, so if I could get Bhutto out of the way that would help me out. Any takers? Ekmek? Den/Triver (c'mon, stop holding out on us)? Saibot? She's a lady Saibot...

Alright, well in any event I'll post the file up for a few days (I suppose until Saturday) so people can DL it and try their hand. This would just free me up, not necessarily time-wise, but just work-wise. I have such a crazy load of modding stuff to do (all my fault) that sometimes I don't know where to begin.

Uh, big time problem guys. My computer won't turn on, whenever I hit the power button it starts up and when it tries to load up windows it shuts off. Not good at all.
