The Disappearing Male (documentary)

For a while, I thought it was about the Capital of Maldives, Male...dissappering into the ocean...

our modern societies dont necessarily need equality of the sexes for the species to function and prosper.

(meaning one male for 10 women could just work out fine, not the other way round...)

that's basically due to technological advances...

...and longer lasting batteries.

It's not just male reproductive health that's at risk, boys are just more susceptible. These chemicals are disrupting and gland & organ systems.

I've already made numerous lifestyle changes with this in mind but I'm going to make more henceforth. For one, returning a few 5-gallon polycarbonate containers I have. I already don't use lotion & only certain types of soap, etc. But this really isn't enough.

Dr. Malcolm is always right. Nature will find a way...
No, he definitely said, "Life breaks free. It expands to new territories, it crashes through barriers painfully - maybe even dangerously - but, well, there it is." Or, alternatively, at a different point: "Life...finds a way." He didn't even say "intelligent" life, so humanity can be included there. :p

"It is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious...service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature."

That's what I thought...

But you less men means less births which = less population in general...
And this is a bad thing because... 9 billion just isn't enough for one planet?

I see nothing wrong with such a trend - more for the rest of us, you know?

Oh well with some fortune Obama would create a nuclear holocaust at 2012 and then this would finally happen !

I appreciate how you got my reference, but notice how I didnt use quotation marks? I dont have JP memorized  SIGGED!

This can only mean one thing...More women for us when we are old!

Or they can offload some from China.

But of course in general, this is serious issue...if you are concerned about the future of mankind.

its very mysterious, as China kills off their females, neighboring nations, especially Russia, get an overabundance of females. Nature is funny.

video not available in my country....

And thus Narz goes from 'Peak Oil Theory' to 'Peak Male Theory'.

Seems I recall some Twilight Zone episodes or class B movies dealing with this topic.

I sent it to him for a reason. My wife and I had been very, er, lazy about not getting pregnant and yet she didn't. I asked my doctor about it and he set up an appointment to... test me. Turns out that I have a very low sperm count, but that this "was becoming more frequent"

If environmental factors like pollution and the sun can interfere with our skin and our lungs, I don't see why something else couldn't interfere with our balls.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not about to move to a cabin in rural northern Ontario, but it's something worth looking into.

Due to where the balls are situated IMO Canser and genetic factors and ofcourse sexual diseases should be more of a threat... Ofcourse pollution longterm may effect those genetic factors ...

Balls receive the same blood flow that the rest of your body does.

So are you saying balls are not fragile?

I am saying that with my limited knowledge i hold the opinion that the liver and other organs are more fragile regarding the effect long term pollution may have on them.

Pfft. The liver practically begs you to assault it.

Actually I'd say the entire human body is incredibly robust at surviving, but not at thriving.

Instead of being a troll why not either

A : watch the videos and/or at least contribute to the article or

B : walk on by (metaphorically)

It's not a theory, it's documented science.

And fewer against you.
There seem to be plenty of fertile men, which is very sad, because we could really do with a drop in population.

Population control is always a good idea until you're the one in the gas chamber, denied food or whose mate has to undergo an "involuntary" abortion.
