Slightly on-topic, my eagerness to contributing awesomesauce work to this thread has introduced me to the greatness of storyboarding. And of course, rough drafts of work.
Sure it makes it much more time-consuming... but it helps it look more professional! Important if one wants to make jack off of it.
Having just added about 5% to my grade, I'm taking a break from schoolwork to sketch out my first comic page... wish me luck.

...Have fun getting back into the habit of drawing, though. It's the worst when you're off of it for a long time and then suddenly have to start drawing again.

While I storyboard the first page, I created this out of necessity: Kansani's father, the late King Baihu.
Once a legendary warrior who led his people to military supremacy(as his many scars show), King Baihu of Beyko has settled down in the recent years, intent on peacefully lifting his country above others. In his eyes, just as Beyko's limited population was the root of its development of incredible training programs, it should also be the root of the development of efficient use of labor for peaceful economic purposes.
Baihu was struck down 2 years before the series began, and his death set in motion Kansani's exile from Beyko and therefore his journeys around the world.

Here's the rough draft for the first page. I'm going to look over it, see areas I could change, and of course the complete version will have shading, shadows, etc.
Feel free to add your own suggestions, of course.

But then I'll be like the only one contributing here! D8 We might as well rename this, "TaniciusFox's Drawing Thread" in that case!I suppose that works though... whatever Varwnos wants to do, I suppose. :3
I forgot to mention the fact that I bet somebody down the line's gonne crack a "Son, I am disappoint" joke about the last part of that page... even if it is a rough draft.

I'm sure most of you will recognise this guy.
I tried to stay true to the original design(i.e. not adding muscles/claws/bulges/etc.) out of respect for Tailless.
...And pose fail! I couldn't think of anything appropriate to draw him doing...

A 100% non-canon issue of DYOS... the battle of the century...
I tried. Here it is.
Elaboration:
CivGeneral(upper left) - Is in a throne, and is reaching for Samus, who seems to be ignoring him, but I bet she's just doing what women do best - making men beg for it. I somehow imagine him suddenly getting up and singing "Hellfire" from the Hunchback of Notre Dame for some reason.
Samus - As mentioned above, she's not falling into CivG's trap of him having the only chair on the platform either...

The Combatants
Spongebob/e350tb - ...Like the actual Spongebob, he appears eerily creepy, especially with the awesome face. Chances are he is ignoring the battle like a clever strategist, for now, but will get involved as soon as the combatants weaken eachother.
Tanicius the Fox - ...Has... turned his wings into tentacles and is crawling around like a spider apparently. He is armed with fruits in all of his hands, and has just thrown two at a curve towards Tailless and Stylesrj's heads.
Stylesrj - Rather than fire the rocket launcher from the shoulder, Stylesrj the Buff Bengal Tiger is firing it from the hip to demonstrate his skills. However, the RPG has gone of course. Darnit.
Taillesskangaru - Is armed with a flamethrower, and judging by his expression, is not afraid to have some roast tiger tonight. ...And the flames stop before they hit Stylesrj. There's treachery afoot!
The Choxornese Horde - Made of popular and common person alike, Choxorn(lower left) slowly shambles with his posse towards the combatants. There are totally more zombies behind him. That's my copout and I'm sticking to it.
The Arena
The actual battlefield of choice seems to be...
...a giant penny. Lazy beams have taken their toll.
The bleachers themselves can be seen in the background, and seems there's a relatively low turnout to the first Z-Games of the Coruscanti Republic. Ah well.
The arena's defenses - machine guns, laser guns, trenches and telsa coils(that pop out of those holes in the ground) near the bleachers have been activated, to massacre the zombie horde in the event they make it to the other side, so as to protect the citizenry.

I haven't been doing many pencil drawings lately. I've been swamped the last couple months with painting commissions. I've been watching a lot of Lost lately so I drew this.
