The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

i have a question about elder scrolls i have seen a teen rateing on the game on the xbox 360 version but not on the pc is there some kidda difference

also i have found an english version of the game that has an age 15 but its from the uk will it work on my computer since its from Northamerica area ?

There was a nude skin that could be unlocked via modding in the PC one so they changed the rating to M after it was disocered which was after it was released.

The UK should work just as fine. Computer games are universal (kind of) unlike DVDs.

Seriously, the game is still Teen, the "nudity" part is a little ugly (from what I've heard) and you won't know it's there unless you mod it in.

There's actually several nude mods and the majority of them are horrible. One individual (I believe his username is Growlf) created a seamless body mod that is really good. You no longer have that break in the waist area that always looked so horrible. He also has it so you can set the size of the womens breasts in the game. Sorry, but everyone seemed to have women with gigantic breasts in the game.

I don't know if he did a male nude mod, so I'm unsure about that. Truthfully, I often forget I have the female nude mod loaded until I swipe the armor off a female bandit. My wife just shakes her head when she sees it!

The game is fun, but I don't really play it anymore. Occaisonally I'll play, but its been about a month since the last time I did.

It wasn't a nude code, to reveal it you have to remove the bra texture. You have to mod it in yourself or download someone else's mod.

So if you don't want nudity, DON'T GET NUDE MODS.

The mature rating is silly, but whatever, if you're not 17 then bring along a parent, if they don't understand (eh, don't tell them about the "nude thing", they won't understand it has to be modded) then get that UK copy, it should work just fine (but can someone back me up here?).

I got Knights of the Nine, Mehrunes dagger is wicked awesome (chance for OHKO)... and yes, the Orrery sucks. But it has an awesome animation sequence. The armours for horses are cool, except they stretch like skin when the horse walks. Only spell tome i've found so far is one for a clannfear. Nothing on Thieves Den, Vile Lair or the Wizards tower yet. :|

I havent gotten one single instant kill with the dagger yet!
And i think i've used almost half of its enchantment charge.
What gives?

I finally completed the game at the weekend. just thought I would and I was slightly disappointed. I dunno I just kinda expected more....

I was getting more and more excited when it came up to the Defence of Bruma, I just had an image of some huge battle, hundreds of soldiers, from all the cities of Cyrodill fighting against the 'inumerable hordes of Daedra' but instead what I got was... well don't want to give spoilers so if you've done it you'll know what I expect, if you haven't, then enjoy it, it is fun

Ya its was week, by the way if you dont get the guards to come and help you the guy just summons up these other guys to help you to, the whole end was pretty weak, the game just seemed to be building up to it for nothing. Theres was what, like eight people involved in the "final battle".

I don't believe you all are taking the whole picturre into mind. Realize that your mission is to enter the large gate and shut it down before the seige engine makes it through the gate. If you don't accomplish the mission than the battle becomes huge (recall Kvatch). Your mission stops the battle from ever happening. Basically you are not fighting the Battle of Bruma, your fighting to stop it from happening before it can.

It's not weak if you go by the plotline, as in truth you stop it from ever happening.

I weakly disguised ploy to avoid a nicely develpoed large scale battle at the end. Really, as a treat, seeing as how the entire time the largest battle youv ever been through is mayby up to four guys it would have been niceto go out with a band for the final brawl of the main story ark. It just seemes like the game didnt really end strong(even though it didnt actually end, it was still the "main quest"). It was very dissapointing.The bloody game is still freekin awesome though.

Well, the Morrowind and Oblivion engines do not seem to be the least bit capale of having more than a few npcs in one place before slowing down significantly.

Tell that to the 30 or so daedra (including atronachs) and oblivion gates that rush you in the last part of the game. Game was moving normal, but ugh... it was like seeing a tennis match through the eyes of a tennis ball.

All the reviews and the bethesda and stuff. When you say this is an epic world full of adventure and excitement, and then flash me images of knights and guys in armorand monsters and wizards, I immediatly think(from our cultural brainwashing) that they mean huge epic battles and long drawn out fights and all that medeival jazz. I got pretty much none of that. I still liked it though.
