The End of Han: The Three Kingdoms

Governor's Orders for Wu Wei

Build Light Horsemen/That Keshik thing since we are further from the front. After a couple of fast reinforcements, start building a seigeballista/sword core for another city-busting stack.
Character Orders: Suggest the Acadamey be built at Chang'An, to help spread out culture and take advantage of its strong economy, which can support many scholars. Donate money and labor (in the terms of teaching students waiting for the academy at my manor) in support of the acadamy.
Return to my Manor and rebuild it if possible. Again, teach students waiting for the academy to be completed.

Dong Feng, a famous craftsman, joined Wu Wei. Fortunately, he did not have any needs that required quests.
Meanwhile, the Fang Zi-An expedition was foiled, by a wide river blocking the way to Shang Dang. They could find no ford or ferry, and all attempts to cross it failed. They continued to search for a way around the river. (...)
Fang Zi-An continued to be baffled by the river.
Painful news, and painful-looking in that last picture! I hope his unit was automated at the time :p Great view of the Heishan Bandits' two-man capital, though!

a faraway and long-yet-unborn Bard said:
'Gainst knaves and thieves men shut their gates
For the rain it raineth every day.
(Feste, Twelfth Night; Act V, scene i)

He that has and a little tiny wit,
With (a) hey ho, the wind and the rain,
Must make content with his fortunes fit,
Though the rain it raineth every day.
(The Fool, ambiguously but possibly in another fourth wall-breaking aside; King Lear Act III, scene ii)
With ballistae pointing at our backs from the southwest, I reluctantly lead the caravan north then east. Eventually I intend to cross borders again, and venture deeper into that blackest bandit bund. Eyes pealed and cautious the whole time, I hope at least we can make use of the 黒山/Black Mountains' roads and move back south quickly, should (nay, once!) we can cross the river.

With the reasoning that a leader is still a leader, I intend to seek audience with Zhang Yan in Jin Yang to help continue relations and to sing the praises of He Zong for Zhang Yan's support, as well! The craftsman himself may choose whether or not to include this on his resumé.

Rephrasing something written IC under a spoiler tag on page eight:
As of page two -- assuming that our Civics have not and will not soon be changed -- Liangzhou Faction Civics are such that cities with Belief in 分分分 get both :hammers: and EXP bonuses.

to no-one in particular
Could anyone please tell me how to put lines/strikes through text here? I tried three or four different ways already and none've seemed to work.

Heishan Bandits, Heishan Bandits... Given where I live, I have had to stop myself from writing Hanshin Tigers this whole time. 何でやねんっ (What gives--)

Finish construction of workshop, then train more people to be sent into the warzone.

Laocorn, type followed by the same with a / in front of the S.

OOC: Name is Red_Spy, so that might be why.

Orders: Fund the construction of new Buddhist Temples

Governor Orders: Contuine the construction of the archers for defense, and then build another.
OOC Again: I do not know much about the mod, so excuse me if my governor orders are a bit "different".

The Chronicles of Kongming
Zh3Ew.jpg

In this age, as attempted assassinations, war, and treachery are rife, many people must find one figurehead, a man of virtue and honor, to unite under. This is true, and is happening.
After the chaotic attacks on King Yi, the people of Liangzhou were shocked to find that the following message had been intercepted by the prison guards, as a man attempted to smuggle it out with the prison laundry. The man is being held for questioning.
'Try to assasin once again king Yi. This time i will say the assasin that if he fails, he will try to burn down the entire building, so even if he fails Yi might be killed by the fire. At the same time i sent a second assasin to assasinate the guards and let me escape from prison. Then i will go into hiding and gather peasants who dont like the rich men and tell them to rise up and revolt.'
The people of Liangzhou are very angry at this appearance of a mass conspiracy against King Yi.
Christos Lee, despite mass public opinion stating otherwise, continues to deny any connection with the assassinations, stating that he will kill the assassin. Unfortunately, he can't begin search for him, as there is the small matter of locked doors and barred windows.
Regent Shao Yu, realizing desperate forces were working against King Yi, contacted the Chen Clan, and had them pick out trusted men as a bodyguard for King Yi. They found two: Chen Cai and Chen Liang, both of whom are known for their prowess in battle. Shao Yu also assigned the Imperial Physician to work on King Yi night and day till he is well.
Meanwhile, shadowy figures destroyed the iron mine near Chang An. Li Jue is suspected.

Li Hao Shi, aboard the Fang Zi-An expedition, has suggested that He Zong build his marvelous academy in Chang An. He Zong has stated that he does not care where it is, so long as it exists. He then, content that He Zong was doing well, returned to his manor, and taught the students anticipating the academy.
Now Liangzhou rejoices! Mighty King Yi is restored to health, and ready to reassume control of the government! The people greet their restored king with a touching amount of joy!
Shao Yu's last action as Regent was to divide up the taxes. He spent 180 gold on various contributions to the war effort. He then paid a 10 gold salary to each of the governors, and to himself. The remaining 40 gold was given to King Yi.

Quests:
Zhao Da still needs someone to help him measure the circumference of the earth.

Prestige:
King Yi: King Yi is well loved, and his recovery is an occasion of joy. King Yi receives 25 Prestige.
Shao Yu: For his wise ruling of Liangzhou in King Yi's absence, Shao Yu receives 40 Prestige.
Li Hao Shi: For teaching the students in the absence of an academy, Li Hao Shi receives 15 Prestige.
Lobsang: For the building of the An Ding Buddhist temple, Lobsang receives 15 Prestige.

Shao Yu steps down from his position as Regent and resumes his duties as Governor of Chang'an if Chen Da Ren would so graciously allow.
In the interim, Shao Yu presents evidence and a damning analysis of the conspiracy to members of the investigation committee & Strizu Hao:

'Try to assasin once again king Yi. This time i will say the assasin that if he fails, he will try to burn down the entire building, so even if he fails Yi might be killed by the fire. At the same time i sent a second assasin to assasinate the guards and let me escape from prison. Then i will go into hiding and gather peasants who dont like the rich men and tell them to rise up and revolt.'

That handwriting is unmistakable...there is only one man in all of Liangzhou who writes 殺手 (ooc: literally "kill hand", this is the archaic Chinese way of writing assassin/murderer) and forgets one brush stroke! (ooc: Try to envision misspelled English as Chinese characters lacking brush strokes here ).

This is a trap. They have copied my words so they can prove that i am the assasin. I ask the emperor to put on trial my political enemies that copy my words and try to kill me. Also i try to kill the assasin.

We also have the fact that the note was found being smuggled out of the prison.

After the chaotic attacks on King Yi, the people of Liangzhou were shocked to find that the following message had been intercepted by the prison guards, as a man attempted to smuggle it out with the prison laundry.

Gentlemen, I rest my case. What are your thoughts?

EDIT: Build Orders:

OOC:  never thought a distinctive mistake will bite someone in the butt.

IC: Also, notice how everytime he writes I (Wo), he writes in diminuative script while at start of the sentences he writes in bold script. Technically, script should stay the same for that no matter written first or in the middle. I would know, I had to reteach 13 Pupils that, of which one kept yelling that he's the son of god. Which one? hehe.

Shao Yu is most gratefully returned to his position as governor, and fifteen percent of Chen Yi's personal coffers are to be a gift for his service. Chen Yi also recognises the validity of his former lord regent's points on the assassination attempts and evidence against Christos Lee. I will ponder these points.

I too do suspect Christos Lee is the assassin.
Spoiler :
I also wonder where my action went hiding.

I wont hide anymore. I ordered Kings Yi assasination. I wanted revenge because he betrayed me and took my throne. I gave him positions, money and power and he in return betrayed me and put me in jail. I lost my kingdom. I lost my throne. I lost my money. I lost my job as a soldier. I lost my men who gought with me. I lost everything. And i didnt lost them from an enemy but from one friend. One friend that i gave him power, money and positions and he in return betrayed me.

I wont hide anymore. I want to get my revenge even if i die.

Sent as many assasins as i can to kill the king, and if they fail i will try to escape the jail and kill him. Also spread revolt to the people with the message << We want a kingdom that the farmers and the people rule. We dont want a kingdom that the rich rule>>. Also try to cause as much rebelion as i can and try to kill as many gonverment officials, as i can.

I too do suspect Christos Lee is the assassin.
Spoiler :
I also wonder where my action went hiding.

Sorry about that. I forgot to mention that the assassin's body had already been searched, with the results mentioned in the last update.

Oh, no problem. The assassin has been caught anyway, so it's not a real issue.

Build order for An Ding : complete the swordsmen, then start building a market. Afterwards, start recruiting light cavalry.

Order : I organize great festivities with my 150 gold in An Ding, honouring whoever is Emperor the next turnset.

Christos Lee is to be executed for treason.

OOC: Yes, that's my action.

King Yi, i will not be executed. You are going to die first!!!!!!!!!!!!
