I bought Call of Juarez this last weekend, and I'm having a heap of fun with it. It's like I'm Father Grigori but voiced by Gul Dukat. Magic!

Oh well, nothing of all too much interest, the Steam version of M&B works fine though? I know people complain about using mods and things on steam to sometimes, which was why I didn't buy that THQ pack they had a while ago.

I haven't played Call of Juarez, but the sequel Call of Juarez Bound in Blood is a pretty good game if you fancy some more wild west action.

I just played the first level of the Soviet campaign from the original Red Alert, which has you slaughter a village of rebels, civilians and all, with attack planes and troops. I forgot how much darker the game is than the rest of the Red Alert series. I remembered it was tonally closer to the original C&C than RA2 & 3, but I didn't remember any village slaughtering, probably wouldn't find anything like that in an RTS made today.

It was the demo for the sequel that got me into it. Went for the first one as my computer will handle it better and, well, it's cheaper. Very much worth it, I'll get the sequel when it comes down in price.

N64 C&C you could slaughter all the villages you encountered IFF you were Nod.

Saints Row 2 for $7.50 off steam, awesome game so far. Fallout 3 GOTY edition which has all the dlc included for $59.99 from a brick n mortar.

I found Saints Row 2 to be a vastly superior game to GTA 4. At least Saints Row 2 feels fun to play.

Bought (and ultimately completed) Halo ODST at the weekend there. Thoroughly enjoyable campaign and found it better than Halo 3. Firefight is an interesting change from killing Zombies in World at War although I am profoundly annoyed at the fact the only way you can play with other people is if they're your friends. Did Bungie kind of lose the functionality that almost every online game has been using for the past 15 years? I'd much rather have had the ability to search for online games than the stupid second disc of Halo 3 multiplayer maps which I'll never use cause I already have cause I bought Halo 3 when it came out. like the good little sheep I am.. pft.

It's more like halo 1 than any of the other games. I still find it strange that you can't use trip mines at least, considering that trip mines are made by the UNSC. I gave the map disc to one of my friends who didn't have any of the map packs.

I just preordered Left 4 Dead 2.

Same, two friends of mine, my friend's friend and myself pooled money for the 4 pack deal, which meant it was only $135 USD divided amongst 4 people.

EDIT: Also bought World of Goo, $4.75 USD, which according to my calculations should have equalled $5 CAD give or take a cent, nit the $5.13 Paypal seems to think.

It refuses to work on my gaming rig (see my profile for details), but works fine on my laptop which has a (albeit one of the newest) intel integrated graphics cards. Absolutely no reason for it NOT to work on my gaming rig, it just doesn't, nothing works. NOTHING.

Make sure to get the fan patch, it adds tons of stuff that was supposed to be there in the first place, but left out due to time constraints and Troika going bankrupt.

I don't think the patch is on steam, just google it.

The fan patch isn't an official release, so you'll have to apply it manually. It's definetely worth it though.
