It is only a game, after all. Kudos to you for having the decency to let everyone know.
For anyone who is interested to sub China in this GMR game: this is one of the early GMR vanilla games that has been consistently played until recently.
The map is Pangaea (new world) and quick speed. China has absored Rome into its territory and is currently joining the war with Songhai and Egypt against Russia who just absorbed Japan. Persia absorbed ottoman early, so there are civs rising and falling.
Come and join the fun in this chaotic world, and shape the order of the surviving civilisations!
Send Michael an invite. Seems fun, reliable, and eager to help. Edit, oh wait, need a new host for invites....
Thanks Onan. I have no problem filling in for a game. Just send an invite.
It is the game in progress.
I am looking for subs for two civs: Celts and France.
Gods&Kings, standard speed, continents, 8 civs in total. All other setting are chosen as default.
The game was launched after the last major patch, so the participants will have a chance of using some interesting offensive tactics called "pillage and heal 25 hp"
We have played through 33 turns, and AI has been ruling these civs for 6-7 turns at the current moment.
Need a sub for Iroquios in the above game. Iroquios got desert folk lore and swim in faith. Share a continent with other 4 civs but very far from them.
The thread is this
Post Steam ID here or in the thread if interested, thank you.
Need a sub for Perisa in the above game. Very early into the game, but close to other 3 civs or more. Pls post Steam ID here or in the website if interested.
Cant see the game, is it private and invite only?
Possibly, I will ask the host to send you an invite?
No. No need. I still have to many games. I just like looking around and if I find the right one, I'll join. I usually join new games I get invited to aswell.
These vacancies are closed:
However, we need a sub for Netherlands in the same game. The civ has been ruled by AI for 3-4 turns by this time.
We need a sub to replace Islandia from Banman's GMR game Link will follow later.
You would be taking up Egypt, the world's most populous civ, which is at a crossroads, between some heavy neigbhours (Tab as Russia to your west, E as Siam, which has already conquered Rome, to your east, and tiny Arabia (me) to your north, with America over the bay to your northwest).
Maybe for Nuoco as well. I think he has been on vacation mode for some time now. In this game he is the Ottomans, sharing a continent with India. This also a vanilla game for any interested.
Ok here is the link. PM me if you want to be in(i need steam username to send invite). And...what Onan said
Apologies to anyone before me in any games I'm hosting. I often can't load the saves, so I revert the turn. Often it works just reverting to the previous player, I don't know why.
I've been invited, but this page doesn't load for me in multiple browsers and with Flash player updated. I've already sent the issue to GMR support. Waiting for alternative or fix.
The guy who played for Celts left the game, because he has had periodical game crashes on his turn. So we are looking for another player to sub him. But it does not mean that the sub will also have the same CTDs when loading the save file.
Celts have awesome early UU, the pictish warrior, which so much suits for the tactics of "pillage and heal".
There are four religious biased civs in the game (Arabia, Maya, Celts and Byzantium). So the leader of celts will have to struggle for religious followers against religions of competitors.
At the moment Celts have been ruled by AI for 2 turns. You should give them a try
Looking for two subs for Modern Times, an industrial start that is a fair way into the game. One civ, Sweden I think, is being overrun by Tab's Austria. The other civ is the Danes, which has had ten or more AI turns and didn't have the best start, but so far remains unmolested. On the other continent, Ethiopia and Japan have been at war, but peace seems near at hand.
Sweeden is technically dead. No need to repace him.
Separate names with a comma.
