The Left Fails Yet Again

Try naming some that a lot of centrists don't agree with.
Except for healthcare, I agree with all of your positions there. And we're probably not that far away on healthcare.

Well don't come complaining when she continues to enable the same economic system that has led to our current state.

But the right isn't willing to compromise at all even though the left has spent 15 years of compromising on immigration. At what point as a centrist do you recognize that?

Tertiary education is a lot more complicated. I will grant you that. Immigration is simple, Republicans have just gone full racist since Obama so compromise is completely impossible.

Like I've told @Zardnaar about his ridiculous title for this very thread, I'm reading this post as follow:

"But the <non-existent socio-political group of any cohesion or meaning> isn't willing to compromise at all even though the <non-existent socio-political group of any cohesion or meaning> has spent 15 years of compromising on immigration. At what point as a centrist do you recognize that?

People REALLY need to specify who they mean, specifically and eloquently, in terms of socio-political groups being discussed who, in a comprehensive and exhaustive, live up to what's being discussed, accused, or praised of them. These "the Left" and "the Right' non-terms - even anti-terms - need to go so people can once again have intelligent and erudite discussions on these matters. Otherwise, empty, gaping holes in place of the subjects and/or objects of a lot of these sentences effectively remain.

God, your arrogance in assuming that all centrists don't support some of those.

And god, your refusal to see that compromise is what has gotten us to this state in the first place or to see that the Democrats are already beholden to interests that are diametrically opposed to all of those.

Nevermind your refusal to accept that the GOP operates on bad faith.

Edit:

It's funny to me that it's the leftists in the democrat party that want these policies, not the actual centrist vanguard, the same ones you defend.

Who said I was defending Democrats. Who said I refuse to accept that the GOP operates on bad faith. (I did stop supporting the party so maybe I figured it out)
You think you know everything. You don't. At least I know I don't and am willing to discuss it and obviously make a change.

Of course i don't know everything, but what i do know is that compromise has led us to where we are today.

And your solution is more of that and when that is pointed out to you, you double down, you dig your heels in and go for the path of least resistance even as it leads us closer to the edge of a cliff.

If you want to dump Trump u recommend voting for whoever wins the Democratic nomination regardless if they're a centrist or left wing. 50% if what you want isb than 0% or even -50%.

Right now America is probably slightly left if center but not where the election will be won or lost.

Only way to change the GoP is smash them in elections 3ir four times over so you need to win in 2020, 24,28 and the mid terms.

In 8 years time the 10 year olds will be 18, and the youth lean left. One problem at a time, dump Trump is the big one. Get rid of him and watch the GoP self destruct.

And you solution has been sooo much more successful.
Maybe if we worked together....... But no, you'll just sit and wait for me to die while you sit there whining about it.

What Americans really need - as I've said a couple of times before - is, Monty Hall might have said, a Door Number 3 that's NOT guaranteed to be a goat. But Ross Perot (Rest in Peace), though most of his platform outside of election and Constitutional reform, I disagreed with or thought was unworkable, was the last Presidential Candidate, to date, to give the Duopoly a run for it's money - and his personal fortune to finance his campaign, and owning his own cable television empire to offset the traditional media focus on Duopoly candidates and almost utter exclusion of others, gave him immense benefits in doing so.

Your generation has utterly ****ed us and the resulting generations and you have the temerity to complain about us being unhappy with what you guys gave us?

Grow up man, this is the real world and these are the consequences of your generations actions. Deal with it.

Your hate of such a broad group is just as bad as the those you accuse.

You created us and robbed us of the opportunities you gladly spent and you expect us to shut up and be happy with what we have even as it continues to dwindle.

Sounds like what a lot of racists claim. Judge people as individuals or you're no better then them.

Your generation hoarded it's opportunities, your kids are worse off than you in all manners except technological if they can afford it at all

You enabled that system and you continue to do so.

Want me and others to stop being so angry? Acknowledge it and admit it and stop.

Not entirely their fault. They rode the post war boom but the world economy was 600million people vs 7 billion. China, Eastern Block etc were mostly cut off.
That started to change circa 1973. The left also veered a bit to far to the left and they all got voted out and Reagan came in. Older Democrats like Pelosi and Biden remember.

Clinton was more of a centrist as he had to be just to get elected. The more liberal elements were annihilated at the ballot box.

Why, do you have proof that I personally did any of that? My child is actually doing better than I was at her age.
You're prejudice against people simply because of their age. As far as I'm concerned that's no different than using race.
That you can't see that is pretty hilarious.

I hate to say it, but their were dirt poor, generous, forward-thinking, benevolent, and even responsible people within the Boomers generation. They're just not the ones the stereotypes you're spewing are built around.
