I've seen closed-captions on TV trying to talk in a mixture of foreign languages

Make nothing of it

What does this mean?

"Sneers That Release Most Female Pheromones Per Square Inch Of Music Venue Air"

If it's not anywhere important, I'd just put a cool sticker over the ink stain.

I'd need more context, but it sounds like a reference to some pop star (hmmm) making a lot of young ladies become sexually aroused by sneering.

(Pheromones are chemicals that can trigger "social responses in members of the same species." They're used to do all kinds of things, like help ants communicate a route to food, or make people horny.)

Does anyone take a claim for/have a guess for what the "most posts in a single 24-hour period?" is?

'Cuz I almost feel like doing that one day. I have nothing better to do .

I figure I could get 100 ezpz.

I've gotten 100 posts in a day several times, especially back in late 2008 when I was having a somewhat boring first semester in college. Go for at least 300.

What does it mean when a musician has "effervescence"? i looked that up and it meant
Noun: effervescence
1. The process of bubbling as gas escapes
2. The property of giving off bubbles

How come the wall lunged toward me stopping an inch away from my nose, and then retracted, or shall I say oozed back to it's normal position? It did this twice. I am not under the influence of any hallucinogenic or illicit substances.

I'd go to a ER. Don't drive yourself:lol:!

Does cfc have a mobile version? Even though the desktop version works excellently on my N8, a mobile site is easier to browse on a 3,5 inch display.

"What can I do you for?"

Does anyone else think the wording of that question is really odd?

"What can I do for you?"

Why do I think the 2nd version is correct, yet I hear the first a lot more often than I think I should?

Is this a regional thing for southerners by chance?
