It's pretty close to the US. As an American that has traveled somewhat in Canada, it's different, but it only halfway feels like being in a different country.

Same. I've gone through so many bouts of insomnia that there's hardly an hour in the day I haven't drifted off. But I can remember one rather depressing New Year's eve sleeping from 4-5pm to around noon the next day.

You can try red-wine but if you have a couple you loose yourself, but really it's always nice to drink some red or white.
