Hopefully the trend of American rappers and minority men calling women 'shortys' doesn't cross the pond.

Are Brits more lenient about the use of the c-word over there? For some reason it's never caught on in America. And I don't understand why that is considered the most offensive term for a woman. You would think that the term for female-dog would be worse, but I guess not.

I'm guessing the author of the piece spent some time in the UK and picked up the phrase, aimee.

EDIT: Nope, the c-word is considered extremely offensive although I know girls who say it The female dog word isn't nearly as bad, it normally means a woman who talks about others behind their backs, or is a nasty piece of work, not as a catch-all term.

Well the thing is, the musician who the piece is about (no need to guess) also said the word "crumpets" and he's American.

OK, in the article (I just finished typing it), they mention that after talking to the "would-be crumpets" that everyone went to bed alone (which I couldnt figure out at first). But the day afterwards it says this:

Discussing last night's social activities, [a musician] describes how standards change during a tour: "They'll all be goddesses by Pittsburgh."

What exactly does this mean? Im not too smart about some things.

I want to get a couple of army shirts and dye them a couple of bright colours - scarlet for one and a dark blue (nowhere near as dark as navy! If possible, kinda like the blue on the EU flag, since I like that shade).

Of course, army shirts tend to be fairly darkish colours, greens and such.

What I want to know is, how would I be able to dye them? Would bleaching them be likely to ruin them?

The companies that make cloth dye also make whiteners. Look for it in the same place.

Huh? Quoted posts have had italics in them since before I joined CFC. It's always been there, as far as I know.
