That's the right stuff all right, but I'll be damned if I can translate it into English or an actual percentage likelihood. :(

Hi. Someone sent me a bunch of CD booklet scans. Some of them are MCA "Compact Disc - Compact Price" issues. They don't have any liner notes, instead they have a bright pink page with a bunch of artist names on them.

(I have one myself, and I remember being upset that there were no liner notes.)

Google brings up a bunch of Amazon pages or discographies of different artists or a bunch of results on a forum about some guy called steve hoffman (?) or mostly junk results. Actually if you google "Compact Disc Compact Price" the first result is youknowwho. LOL.

Anyways what more can anyone tell me about this?

What's the largest university (area of campus) that is entirely within a city's boundaries?

Question: If I were to scan a magazine with an address label on it, is it ok to black out the label with a Sharpie or should I just do it on the computer? Just for privacy reasons.

Best to black it out after scanning. The scanner might see through the marker on the paper.

OK thanks.

OK, for these CD booklets, I see little codes like "MCAD-31171" (this is the Compact Price/pink thing I mentioned in the post above). Is there a place I can put them in to read them?

Why are people in CivFanatics OT, on average, more intelligent than your average internet user on another forum?

So, through IQ osmosis or something, everyone elses intelligence raises collectively?

Because this entire forum is dedicated to a historical strategy game, a genre of game which only tends to attract a certain type of people.

Yes, I wouldn't expect a forum devoted to farmville to have the same level of discussion.

Question:

What is better, mind-blowing amazing sex with a woman you find attractive, but you can only get it on occasion not knowing when it will be your last. Or average, routine sex with an unattractive woman, but you have security, stability, and a steady supply of sex. Which would you rather have in your life? Stability, but boring sex, or mind-blowing amazing sex with an unstable woman?

I've been debating this question for a while, and trying to decide what is better for my life, but I've come to no conclusion.

I guess it depends on the person. But acting like the woman is just there for the sex .... :dunno:

Question: I know about the placebo sugar-pill effect. But my question is: Does it work in reverse?

I mean, you give someone a real pill and then tell them it's a sugar-pill. Does it work less effectively?

Question: I know about the placebo sugar-pill effect. But my question is: Does it work in reverse?

The opposite of the placebo effect is the nocebo effect. If a person believes what they are taking will cause harm, it will happen even if what they are taking has no chemical effect. It's the reason why pills and other medicine lists many harmful side effects.

When testing a drug, the trial patients are asked to mention any harmful effects that happen to them while taking it. The patients become more aware of what happens to them, and what would normally be minor things they normally ignore, they being to notice it and think it's caused by the drug. For example, if a person goes to the toilet a certain amount, normally they may just ignore it, but when taking the drug, they may think the drug is causing them to go to the toilet more frequently. After the trial is over all of the harmful effects that happened during the trial will be listed as possibly caused by the drug.

Question: Where is "Chas." in S.C.? (I'm organizing.)

Thanks. :)
