The King, George I entered in his private Jet, and send a message to Chiang.

<< Mr Chiang, do you hear me? >>
<< Yes my lord!>>

the King then, with as smile in his face, said.

<< Commander Chiang, the times has come. Execute order 4567! >>

@Tanny, I have two questions about the trade income:

1) Did Kongo and Chili really suffer worse from their embargoes than we did?
2) Why is the trade income of Kongo and Chili different from the trade income of Somalia?

@Christos, I thought you had given that order for last turn?

Objibwe Empire should be my client, saw that they're listed as independent. I know I bought them.

Dear Oz, you have seen nothing yet. Once i end with Red Lotus and Korea, the entire world will bow to China.

Dear Oz, you have seen nothing yet. Once i end with Red Lotus and Korea, the entire world will bow to China.

Well, I have no choice but to agree with the underlined part..

Ha!!!

I'm considering rejoining...

What NPCs that I could take over currently exist?

Quebec and Catalonia are the strongest small nations; I'm not sure what the free large nations are.

hmm, Kazakhstan and Crimea appear stronger than Catalonia and Quebec, at the very least they have more provinces.

I think you could probably take over one of the major NPCs (Finland, Italy, Demon Realm), but I agree Catalonia is the best of the small NPCs.

I hereby declare that the Merger of Scotireland and England is complete. The new Nation will henceforth be known as the

Parlimentary Union of Britian (PUB)

Government: Parlimentary Democracy
Languages: Gaelic, English
Trait: Industrious
Currency: New Pound
Economy: Mixed
Capital: Dublin
Religion: Free Religion; but mainly Christian
Social Situation: Liberal

The elections for a new Government shall be held as soon as possible, but until then the current government apparatus shall continue their work, with national policy being given over to the much larger former-Scotireish ministeries. As of right now, national policy has yet to notably change.

-----

The Merger Ceremony was an elaborate affair, combining the pomp of two major official ceremonies into one as both england and scotireland did their best to outdo the other. The result was a ceremony the likes of which the Isles had not seen in decades. It was transmitted across the nations, and in some areas, particularly former England, huge celebrations were held that would last well into the night, and even into the next day.

"We are here today" Scotireish Prime Minister Irish McScotsman told the world "to formally declare the Merger of England and Scotireland. Today, our two nations shall become a new one. We shall henceforth be known as the Parlimentary Union of Britain. In this act, we bring together the peoples of our Isles once more into a single unfied body. Many people have strived for a long time to bring about this day, and although I was one of them, I will not pretend to have worked the most, or the longest. I cannot honestly say who has that honour, given the great number of people this has involved, but I can say that the many contenders all deserve to have their efforts honoured, and that I feel sure this cereomony will do that, at least in some small part."

"It is a new start for all of us." The English King Richard V declared. "For a long time now our nation has been unable to return to the Democratic Principles we once embraced. We have today a chance to prove that we are ready again for such responsibilities, and I hope we will not squander this chance. This is, in a way, my resignation, for though I shall remain for a time to oversee a smooth transition, I will in time fade into the background. It is for the best perhaps, but I will use this oppurtunity to say to the people of England; it has been an honour to lead you, and to the people of Scotireland; it has been an honour to work with you. I am certain that together, you shall prove an even greater peoples than you have already proven to be, alone."

OOC: Yes my nation is a PUB.

No the government is not going to be run from a drinking house. :p

"I have worked" Unionist Movement Leader Scotbrit McBritish declared "for nearly 40 years of my life to see the events of today come to pass. It has been a long road, it has been a hard road, and at some points it has been a seemingly endless road. But it does have an end, and I am proud to announce that we have reached it. We have come to the end of an Era. For Centuries, these Isles have been divided, but now, finally, we are once more united in brotherhood."

"It is an end in more snese than just one. For a long time the Unionist movement has been a strong contender in the politics of our nations. Our goals were both decisive and popular, and we had a clear path laid out before us. We have walked that path now, and we are finally adrift in the field of politics. Where shall we go? What shall we do? For what cause will we fight? I say now that our purpose is accomplished. But we will not linger on aimlessly. We know when the time has come to lay down our metaphorical arms and rest. That time has now come."

"The Unionist Movement is hereby Dissolved."

"And whilst I expect many of our members will decide to roam the story seas of politics still, I shall go quietly. I have accomplished by goal, and finally, I have a chance to rest. It is time for me to retire, time to give up the reigns of power to the new generation, to let the people of the new era slip out from the thumb of the old. And so it is that this, barring complete disaster, will be my last great speech. We have all come a long way together, but I have reached the end of my journey, and you, our nation, still have no end in sight."

"I say now farewell, to the political Arena."

-The Resignation Speech of Scotbrit McBritish, Unionist Movement Leader

Edit: Well since I don't want my writing to get too far ahead of my posting, I'm gonna stick another RP in this post. Elections here we come!

With the voting extended to the entirety of the British Isles a number of the old Scotireish parties initiated their own mergers with political movements in former England. The resulting Parties are as follows:

The Combined Liberal Party combines the old Scotireish Liberals with more restrained English Liberals, leading to a less determinatedly neutral party that embraces more pragmatic pacifist policies such as detterance.

The United Conservative Party gained a great deal from the merger, being a able to access a large pool of conservative style English Politicians. Their policies remain largely unchanged.

The Peoples Communist Movement of Britian has changed its name but little else, with Englands traditionally anti-communist stance meaning their comparitive power is much diminished, even whilst their numbers are largely unchanged.

The New-Age Neutral Party is a new Party who are eager to forge a new path. They are great beleivers in the PUB's ability to become a power to be reckoned with alone from the Great Alliances of the world.

The English National Party is essentially made up of the largely upper-class Englishmen who resisted the original merger. Whilst their support is low, their members tend to be quite influential.

The Greater Gaelic Front has weakened somewhat, with their goal of Annexing England now outdated, and their goals of further expansion far less popular. They are also resented by many of the English who suffered from the lack of freedom under the Monarchy, who tend to disagree with the GGFs belief in centralised Autocracy.

The Green Party of the Isles is a small bastion of beleivers who place the maintainance of the enviroment above the growth of Industry and GDP. They remain Largely ignored by the general populace.

Whilst the Communists and GGF are waning, the NANP appears to be the rising star of PUB politics, growing to challenge the more established Conservatives and Liberals. The GPI and ENP are expected to amount to effectively nothing, being to much at odds with the views of the general populace.

Edit Again: And the Green Party is so forgetable I forgot it. :p

Xinjiang's second federal election has concluded with Huiqing Da returning as Prime Minister of a reduced majority government. The Indian crisis threw the campaigns on their head as debates were dominated by questions of economic sanctions against the aggressors. The result was a surge in support for Solidarity and Social Justice at the expense of the Co-operative Alliance, whose platform notably left out any official statement; observers believe this was out of fear of antagonizing Xinjiang's neighbours, to whom it owes a considerable share of trade relations. Nevertheless, the spike in regional tensions has prompted investigation into an expansion of the armed forces.

Electoral statistics:

Co-operative Alliance: 56%
A mix of newcomers and members of the coalition for restoration, it is commonly regarded as the most pragmatic in terms of policy. While still widely respected, its non-committal stance over the Indian crisis has cost it votes from the more ideologically-minded citizens.

Solidarity: 32%
Advocating the strength of "China", its chief goal is the "unification" of the Chinese successors, although what exactly this means and how it plans to go about it are somewhat contentious. As India and Xinjiang's fellow successors have broken down into civil war, disillusioned citizens have flocked to it in the hope that the party will provide substantive policy to end the strife and reject foreign domination of the region.

Social Justice: 9%
Inspired by but unaffiliated with the Scarlet Lancers, it has an extremely well-developed criminal policy, and is almost fanatic in its call for the apprehension of the old régime. It is the most vocal proponent of economic sanctions against Oz and Korea for the Indian fiasco, a pillar of its platform that is now almost as tall as its call against the CRF.

Green Party: 2%
Its main priorities are nuclear disarmament, the curtailment of carbon emissions, and sustainable development. It is the chief contributing author to the government's recent motions for the reclamation and rehabilitation of recently decontaminated border provinces.

Nationalist Party: 0.1%
A leftover from the ancien régime, its policies were responsible for driving China into past conflict. Ironically, it was completely unable to capitalize on the Indian crisis to win support, continuing to lose followers to Solidarity.

Communist Party of Xinjiang: 0%
The oldest contemporary party, its platform is torn between advocates of the Old Guard and new-blood reformers. The legacy of Christos Xinjiang has single-handedly destroyed its credibility; its impassioned regional campaigns were met largely with indifference, and lingering tensions over the Chinese-Indian War led to a handful of anti-party riots that required police intervention.

Others: 0.9%

Following a dismal performance in the previous election and a lacklustre campaign this year, the Democratic Party disbanded one month before voting day, with its toehold of supporters acceding to the three leading parties.

As radiological contamination has fallen to tolerable levels, Xinjiang has announced plans to rehabilitate the northern regions, and is dispatching environmental crews to assess the damage and tend to any survivors. It is also motioning for temporary control of decontaminated territories along the southern border to likewise provide aid to survivors, at least until the situation in India has been resolved.

P.S.: Xinjiang diplomats are looking forward to meeting in the PUB. :D

The voting is complete for the 1st elections of the PUB!

Liberals (CLP) 19%
Conservatives (UCP) 52%
Communists (PCMB) 10%
New-Agers (NANP) 15%
English Nationalists (ENP) 0.5%
Gaelic Front (GGF) 0.5%
Green Party (GPI) 2%
Independant 1%

The Conservatives have carried a Majority, whilst the New-Age/Liberal coalition gets a solid second place. The nationalist groups have proven to lack support, and the Green Party has maintained its near insignifcant rating. At the same time the Communists retain a good 10% of the vote, but are unable to affect the outcome of the elections significantly.

Former Ambassador Jenkins McDonald has become the First Prime Minister of the PUB, following the decision of Irish McScotsman not to run, although he remains a member of the government. He has announced that, despite the pressure of the opposition, the PUB shall take up Scotirelands place in the Warsaw Pact, and reafirm its commitment to it's close alliance with the Lowlands. The tax rate shall remain at the Scotireish 25% for now, and a spending review is underway. A pledge has been made that the high standards of national security shall remain, and it is expected that the Armed forces shall be expanded.

BMI Agent 007A stared at the frieghter thorugh his binoculars. It looked innocent. They all looked innocent. But this particular freighter had taken a route that passed by the territory of almost every comintern nation in the world. If anybody wanted to slip men or materials into the PUB, this freighter was the obvious choice.

Too obvious 007A thought. But you could never be too careful, and orders had been to ensure that every possibility was covered. And so here he was, standing in the rain just a few miles west of Portsmouth, watching an ordinary freighter go about it's ordinary buisness. Not that he would complain. He'd seen the reports from the UN, he'd watched the news from Englands ancient BBC. He could almost feel the tension in the World.

Nobody would be stealing from Scotireland, not on his watch. The chaos of the outer world would not intrude on the small island chain that 007A called home. The people of his nation were sometimes selfish, sometimes uncaring, but they didn't deserve the devastation that was always going on somewhere. Nobody did.

"They're making how many ships???" It seemed no matter what happened, the government never failed to find a new way to astonish Captain McTavish. "I suppose they have to build some now, but a 200 ship fleet is far more than we're going to need for a long time. Unless..." His eyes widened "Don't tell me the NANPies are behind this?"

"I couldn't say sir" Ensign 'Roach' McShoutout responded. "I'm even less privvy to government decisions than you are." McTavish glared at him, but said nothing, secretly amused at the point. Roach was right, if the Captain didn't know, he didn't have a Baby's chance in Iblis of finding out. Of course, a Captain had to maintain discipline, so he couldn't show anything but hostility for a remark that pushed boundries like that.

"Well, nevermind. The fact is we'll be working with surface ships in the near future, so we might as well get used to it, no matter who's idea it was." Mctavish smiled slightly. "At least this way they can't devote whole fleets to looking for us and our little pair of oversized fireworks. And we don't need to worry about trying to stop an invasion fleet anymore. I think this is going to make our job a lot easier..."
