The Multipolar World (MP)

Dear Demon Realm. We dont want war with you. We could be allies.

Order of Iblis:

Why would the Order trust you? China:

-Invaded us without provocation
-Has announced its desire to dominate East Asia
-Enabled the Australians to partition the DR
-Staged a coup against Beijing, which is rightfully Demonic and was in the process of repatriation
-Never mind, China has been, is, and likely always will be a pariah.

Also i have in possession several nuclear weapons that will be tested in your land if you dont want peace.

The feeling is mutual!

Do not underestimate the power of the Demon Realm. All tigers were once kittens, the mighty oak was once but a sapling.

What's hilarious here is that Korea never developed chemical weapons which ate away at lung lining. We just created a brown note.

The DR improves upon all!

Of particular import is the weapon system that may or may not be in its possession that turns the rivers red due to chemical pigments released, triggers frequencies that causes locusts to swarm and insects to turn vicious, boils to erupt on the skin upon exposure, ignites chemicals in the air causing balls of fire to rain down, and last but certainly not least tends to blot out the Sun with the sheer volume of smoke released by the destruction.

...the Order is still working on the tenth objective of the weapon system. Iblis requests all nations give their first born the bulk of the food in their harvest. :p

Something tells me Mongola ain't giving that tech to you. They refused to give it to the Papacy, they can do the same with you.

-Nukeknockout

Never mind, China did not exist until just now, ergo it cannot qualify.

Dear DR, we want to make a new start. And as a sign of good will, we could negotiate about Beijing and i offer you a DP and OB, plus a certin ammount of money. Let us become allies and unite against the western threat. Together we can win everyone. Let us create a Sino-DR alliance. Forget about the past. Let us start a new bright future. Also, we could give you all of the Korean lands we will take over.

No frogs? No massive livestock death?

Mongola and the nations of America: China wants to make a new start so we ask you to stop supportng the illegal government and help China rebuilt itself. As a sign of good willl, China offers to Mongola and the American nations OB.

No. You are undoubtedly planning to invade the 501st Legion, given that we hold land in China. It would be both foolish & suicidal to trust you.

Actually Jeho, I can confirm that Christos is telling the truth. The Chinese Empire has been reformed from Wuhan, Beijing, and Mongolia, with Shanghai as a client state.

Party in East Asia! :D

Subverting my minions! that conniving little son of a filthy tyrannical former now ex-former nation in east asia. Note to self, East Asia is rarely worth the trouble.

Have I missed anything? And wasn't I supposed to buy WMD tech from someone?

You can keep your land. We dont care.

Also we are willing to pay and hand over our nuclear weapons except 2 TB5 nukws..

I say we all just deploy all our chemical, fission, and fusion weapons against all of East Asia and be done with it. Seems hardly worth the trouble any other way.

If the East Asians didn't want to be continuously purged off the planet, why do they insist on putting fools in power?

One word: christos.

"You're sure about this?" asked Deming.

"Clearly you are not," replied the Lotus, handing him a black notebook. "If George's goons catch you, they will kill you, publicly and by the most excruciating method they can think of. And," she added with a smirk, "You're too polite to requisition me as your bodyguard."

"I shouldn't be running," he muttered, "As head of state, I have a duty to these people, now more than ever." He looked her in the eye. "He ran. He's the one who lost all legitimacy when he abandoned the country. We pledged not to be him."

"And you're not," she said simply. "Democracy has suffered too many martyrs already. You may think yourself simply the president, but right now, you are an icon, and you carry much more symbolic influence than you recognize. The only people who will benefit from your death are the China Six. Not to mention it would be the waste of an excellent leader."

Deming snorted.

"Don't sell yourself short; you accomplished more in your first term than most people expected."

He looked away. "It wasn't enough. We weren't prepared for this."

The Lotus reached out and grasped his arm. "In spite of the war, in spite of the senseless and monumental destruction of the Eastern Hemisphere, you still had hope. When others were convinced that Asia was doomed to failure and surrendered themselves to self-loathing and despair, you were charting a road to a brighter future. Never chastise yourself for optimism." She gave a conciliatory smile.

Deming let out a long breath. After a moment, he said: "You'll be alright? Whatever the international community pledges, the country's on its own for the first two years."

"It took 88 years for Chinese democracy to take root; if George and his ilk think they can traipse back in without a fight, they are sorely mistaken. We will do our utmost to resolve this as quickly as possible. Until your return, Mr. President." The Lotus snapped to attention and gave Deming a sharp salute. He reciprocated as best he could, then turned about and boarded the plane.

She followed the jet from take-off until it disappeared over the horizon, then began walking back to the terminal. If their exchange had been a scene from a Hollywood movie, she would have then flipped open her cell phone and uttered an appropriately intriguing line to commence a secret contingency plan. But she didn't need to; the Red Lotus was gifted with inhuman foresight, and her plan was already in full swing.

It had been for decades.

Xinjiang declares state of emergency

In response to leaked information of a CRF sneak-attack by year's end, President Jianguo Deming has declared a national state of emergency and ordered the immediate mobilization of the armed forces.

"Reliable sources" confirmed that the governments of neighbouring Chinese successor states Wuhan, Mongolia, and the Beijing Region have been compromised by insurgent forces and are preparing for a joint strike, with the possibility of additional assistance from Shanghai. The international response has been immediate, with the Order of Iblis, Italy and Vietnam threatening retaliatory action.

Iblis has already hinted at the possibility of deploying chemical weapons against Beijing. Rumours that the CRF have access to WMD has sparked fear over a relapse of the previous war that left most of Asia devastated and completely destroyed the Kingdom of Hawai'i.

In an emergency national broadcast, the president urged the country to "Stand firm; stand strong; stand united." Evacuation orders have been issued for front line provinces, and Parliament is set to relocate to a "safe zone" out of the firing line.

An emergency edict has been issued that will transfer executive power and control of the armed forces to the Scarlet Lancers in the event contact is lost with the government.
...

------------------------------

His meditation was interrupted by the chime of a ringtone. He pulled out his cell phone and scanned the address, then flipped it open and put it to his ear. No introductions were necessary; he received the information without any change in his expression, and concluded with a simple "Understood."

He flipped the phone closed and returned it to his coat pocket. "Change of plans," he announced, turning to his fellow operatives, "We're not heading back to Xinjiang."

------------------------------

"Ahhh..! Can you hear the thunderous song of approaching armour, general?"

"Can it, Kwai," spat General Leang. "I don't have to tell you twice how much is riding on the success of this operation. Assuming we emerge from this on top, the only way the government will fund the Emperor program is if you prove their current investment was worth it."

"Tigress!" he cried in mock dejection, "It's almost as if you don't trust my judgment in mobile warfare!"

"I trust your expertise as much as I trust you to overshoot yourself. You wanted to take the front lines? You'd better be prepared to hold them. With Tao still on probation and my command responsible for the third line, you're on your own unless Fai manages a miracle and wraps up his front early. Don't let your arrogance screw over your mission, or I'll have you busted down to taxi driver."

The general clapped fist to his chest. "Better to die with honour than live with George."

------------------------------

It never pays to underestimate your enemy.

George I was widely considered clinically insane; it was the only explanation for his incessant assertions that not only was he still an internationally-recognized head of state, but that the people of Xinjiang wanted him back. However much their confidence in the new democracy, whatever their opinion of the Scarlet Lancers, they would always, always state: "Better than the other guys." Even the Communist Party, despite its legacy, strove to disassociate itself with Christos and the old régime. Having consistently fumbled the ball on cultivating an international reputation, having repeatedly promised to invade his neighbours upon George's return to power, the Chinese Resistance Forces had justly become the laughingstock of Asia and most of the world. As they now prepared for a "surprise" assault they so arrogantly proclaimed publicly, popular sentiment was no longer "would they win?", but "how long until the Lotus kicks them back out?"

Xinjiang may have been slow to respond to the CRF, presuming, as most of the world had, that they could never achieve a lucky break so quickly, but that did not mean it was as unprepared as the president assumed. INTERPOL was reconstituted too late to catch the CRF at a more expedient time, but fortunately for the parties under threat, there was an invisible pool of vigilantes willing to carry the torch. Though the Scarlet Lancers were known primarily for their actions in Asia, the cause of democracy called for a global network. Most of the old contacts hadn't been heard from since the Resistance era, but when they received word that the first democratic Chinese state of their lifetime was under threat by its old slavers, they were more than enthusiastic to dust off the armbands and grab their guns. News of the "great battle of our time" travelled by word of mouth far beyond official networks. Volunteers hailed from around the globe: French, Polish, Argentine, Slav, Latino and Native American, Asian and Arab, even the rare Coruscanti willing to break out of the national isolationism.

And so it was that as the China Six drank themselves stupid on the eve of the war, congratulating each other on a victory not even achieved, an international guerrilla army was pouring into Xinjiang, a new mujahideen willing to fight to the death to preserve one of the last beacons of the Good and the Just. From Scarlet Fire, to the Indian betrayal, to Partitionania's virtual destruction of the Comintern, global politics seemed doomed to follow a decidedly Machiavellian streak; yet if the Lancers were now proving anything, it was that honest internationalism not only still existed, but was an immensely fortitudinous rallying cry.

The Chinese Resistance Forces had declared war not merely on Xinjiang, but upon all the free peoples of the world.

It was a war they could never hope to win.

I mean aside from the 5 pages (give or take) of christos ranting about whatever came to his... mind.

You were supposed to pay me $700 for PB5 tech, but since Red undercut me, I decided to give it out for free to be petty. You can still pay me if you want, though. :p

Mongola also refuses to give PB5 to the Chinese Empire, and we will give our full support to Xinjiang.
