Good evening.
Allied troops consisting of English, Russian and German troops are engaged in the battle of Paris, which has been called the main event of what the man-on-the-street calls 'The Great War'. Our troops are pushing on the French, who are now closed in due to the German circling to cut off supply routes. It is now widely believed that the French will withdraw into the city and the English and Russians will begin a siege, while Germany works its way to the South. The war will soon be over, and then the Allies will, political analysts say, turn their attention to the Growing threat of Communist America.
You are listening to 97.6-98.8, BBC Radio One, The time is just past 9:30.
