An update! Yay! (Sorry, not pictures. My imageshack is being a jerk and refuses to upload anything.)
The idea of a beaurcratic form of government, while not implemented, was invented after the advent of the civil servant. The religious views of polytheism was given to us by the Romans, in exchange for our thoughts on monotheism. The art of manufacturing paper was also developed, along with the prevailance of trade guilds amongst the Persian Empire's cities. The art of making machines out of gears and such was perfected, allowing the construction of crossbows.
Meanwhile, barbarians are coming in from every side. In the east, after a hasty refit of an old archer unit to longbows and the working to death of several others for an archer unit, the attack from the City of Silence failed, resulting in minimal Persian casualties.
A galley fleet of barbarians ship entire divisions of horse archers over, seemingly all the time. They at one point capture, but abandon, Pasar, allowing Persian archers to recover it without losses. From the west, the Chaos City sent a macemen division, which failed to breach the defenses of a Persian mace soldier. Barbarian hordes continue to be offloaded near Pasar, until Persian spearmen units are hastily (whipped) put together and quell the uprising. The barbarian incursions left massive swathes of land north of Pasar obliterated, leaving no improvements or villages unburned.
Meanwhile, the Persians manage to capture and raze a small city on the western coast, which was one of Shaka's accesses to the copper resource. From there, Persian immortal units managed to capture a poorly-defended Ulundi from archers. The peace deal granted 100 ingots of gold to the victors of the war, Persia. Persian miners quickly raced up to the copper mines and laid down a small city, called Damascus. Meanwhile, settlers set up shop near massive abundances of fish northwest of the capital, calling it Gadea. Work boats from the capital race up to start the harvest of the fish. More settlers head towards a region south of a plethora of dye, somewhat close to wheat fields. They call the city, in honor of the newer cities of the empire, GadeaPasar (I'm real original with the names.

)
A massive economic revision system took place, where hundreds of thousands of citizens were recruited to become settlers and workers for the grand Empire. It is estimated at least 3 worker groups and 3 settler groups were spawned from the recruitment.
In diplomatic news, the empires of France (Led by Louis XIV) and Rome (Led by Julius Caeasar) were discovered. Pleasantries were exchanged and the beginning of a friendship was beginning to develop between the nations of Iran and the Italic peoples, despite their different religions. Louis was cautious throughout most of the diplomatic meetings, except for an offer to trade maps, which Iran graciously accepted.
