The New Divine Intervention

NFME
Spoiler :

Hmm, when I get home later I guess I'll play a few turns and see if any of them have left the forts. Btw you put quote tags instead of spoiler tags!

NFME
Spoiler :
 Just test it out. CIV makes forts like cities, so it might work. Just not sure, though.

Civ'ed, most of us are new to DI :p I think only Terrance and Ninjacow have played a DI before, that's with us on this thread.

I haven't played a DI, but I lurked a few in back when I was lurkin'. :hide:

Still, that said, playing is very different to lurkin'.

DT
Time Gazin'

Lurkin' and slurpin'.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know. How can you ever forgive me!?

Olaf of the Tempest looked upon the world. So peaceful and calm, tranquil... only he knew what was coming. A storm was coming, and it would bring chaos. The world would be at WAR. He was in control. As always. Nothing would stop him this time.

Signing in as Olaf of the Tempest, Deity of Chaos...

Getting the save now.
My first DI. Yay!!!

Hey, my changes turned out perfect! I will post my story now!

Always have the mortals lived, perfering to bash each other with larger and larger sticks, then with stick holders and stones. And Terrances hated it. He hated the loud and crudness. So he decided to enlighten some peoples of a future. Of course, some went mad and wanted to destroy the light. However, the skills he wispered lead some to learn and prosper, like beacons of light within tribal villages.

He must free his stolen gifts... He needs immorrtals.

Free my gifts and destroy their prisons and establish an altar near it and name it in my Honor! The Command of Terrance has been spoken!

And here's my story and save.

The Chaos peoples needed a home. Their Deity was willing to provide it. They watched as he built an island for them out of nothing. He hnded them weapons. "Use these cautiously. But use them with skill. I expect you to train with them each day. Be warned, your island is precious and there will be those who come to take it. You will be ready."

The Chaos Warriors only nooded, and began to build.

Mosher Can Read This (Quest):

Spoiler :
Whoever destroys the Chaos peoples' city will be rewarded with the wonderful resources of the island. But be warned, for the Chaos peoples will be needing a new home...

Not For Mosher's Eyes:

Spoiler :
Added some barb Vultures (one has the Leadership promo) and a 6 tile island with a barb city called Chaos City on it. It's on a hill and has Walls and a Granary. 3 gold resources on the island. Took 6 land tiles away from Mosher's landmass to compensate... If the Chaos city is taken, I will move any surviving Vultures and put their numbers back to full strength. On the borders of the culprit. :D EDIT: And every turnset, I will make the prize a little sweeter, but don't tell him that.

As Chaos, my edicts are required to be unpredictable.
EDIT: Sorry for the double post...

Hey, don't forget that the Chaos Peoples need to be, ahem, modernized every once in a while hehe.

And so it is and so it shall be. The planet is slowly changing as the Immortals awaken and the gods arrive. who will weild this change to their advantage? How will the gods themselves fight or accelerate this alteration. As all know, the gods sometimes commit the wides or the narrowest changes of all. Terrance waved his hand and a small spark, whispering into the ear of every leader and every immortal of his wishes. He soon will regain his power and stand among the dieties above.

Of course.

*Impatiently waiting for week to be over so I can back to my precious computer.* :(

And so, as the relentless voices of the gods tumbled in the mnd of the King of all of Persia, a sudden calm washed over him. A spark, reminisant of those that the God Terrance has bestowed on certain beasts, has landed on his pillow.

Do well to listen, oh king, for here are the commands of all the gods.

Yoshiegg737 - Bel, God of Islands and Martial Arts: None, but beware the d---- and the i----.
Gruekiller - Chilupotl, God of Rain and Rivers: None, but abide by the way of the world as I try to save it.
Terrance888 - God of Finesse, a young god of quality and technology: Free my stolen and imprisoned gifts. Erect an altar to my power and in my name.
Civ'ed - Esar, God of the Territory, who appears as a replica of the general himself. : Your goal is to control your chosen lands, named P, and dominate the contested lands with the Zulus. However, if they dominated the contested lands and have earned the right to their own homeland, you have lost. Complete the conquest of strange lands, and beware of the mood swings.
Omega - Omega, God of Death: Kill 10 units throughout the next update. If you succed, Omega shall send troops for you to control for more destruction. Failure will mean bad things next turn. Also, raze a city built on Gold
Southernking - Lord of Units and where they are placed
Red Spy - God of luck and espionage: Capture the City in the South to gain my support.
Dam Taqat - God of the Future and Stars: Build the oracle or learn the art of writing.
NinjaCow - God of Music: -You must get The Bard to your capital city. butHe is defenceless, if he dies you will be punished. Look out for the wolves, they are agents of silence. However, If you do not want to do this quest, you must disband The Bard. You will receive no punishment or reward.
Jury-6 - Jury, god of justice and moral fortitude.
Olaf of the Tempest, Deity of Chaos: Whoever destroys the Chaos peoples' city will be rewarded with the wonderful reesources of the island. But be warned, for the Chaos peoples will be needing a new home...

The dark priests shouted at the sky as the gates behind them bulged again. It has been generations since they have chained the power of a growing god, but its will seems to be ever growing. However, the enslaved power helped themselves as they mastered the divine arts bestowed on the creatures. No one knows why these animals were given gifts, but now they are being stolen by the unworthy.

Another gust of wind blows down a tree onto one of their supply wagons. One by one, they lost contact with each other. Their brotherhood broken, they decended into barbarity knowing only to defend their prize and to learn to take MORE.

Terrance, you are my hero.

By the way Jury, a god can only intervene once per turnset, so it there won't be many more interventions.

And don't forget about the ressources of the Chaos peoples. Yeah, just fixed that in my other post. I'm picky with my grammar. :)
