Theistic evolution is not compatible with science.

Can you elaborate on this claim?

I'd rather not as you're just collateral damage. I made the point I wanted, and it wasn't to attack theists, especially not theists who seek a happy compromise between science and religion.

In fact, to be more specific, the very last thing I would want is to discourage any rational that lends support to the vast majority of Christians who are pretty much science-friendly.

Maybe I should just say this: Scientifically, there is no reason to introduce a force that can't even theoretically be tested for in the first place. But that's neither here nor there, and it doesn't necessarily disrupt the scientific process to assume a creator anyway. And then, just because something is not scientific does not make it untrue.

I would, of course, disagree with Brainpan on this, but the converstaion seems to have sunk to muddy depths of personal animosity. Now it would seem appropriate for brainpan to define whatr he means by theistic eveolution. If you only mean in the context of evangelical christianity, it is one thing, but once you get past that you are clearly wrong.

Its really funny to watch poor lil' brainpan argue, its like watching a 13yr old kid with ADD hyperbolically describe the time he got in his first fistfight or something:

We all get in such places from time to time and they aren't pretty to watch.

It can take time to get used to Perf's stye and many still find him an arrogant know-it-all refusing to see past his flamboyant facade.
