1. Afghanistan, Iraq, Tajikistan, Iceland, Belize
2. Belgium (though their inability to win any silver or bronze keeps them out of the top five in the medals table)
3. The US co-ordinators confuse the Olympics with a "Support Our Troops" morale tour and mistakenly send Robin Williams and a dancing girl troupe to Athens. Apart from a surprising bronze in the mixed 4 x 100m relay, the US win nothing.
4. The Euro 2004 final.
5. The UK votes against the proposed Euro constitution, causing a major crisis within the EU which rumbles on for weeks if not days, until everyone realises it doesn't make that much difference anyway.

Anyway it will come down to US, Russia, China, Australia; in other words, nothing new. I wonder if the US will beat Australia in swimming, that guy from Baltimore just broke his own world record recently.

And just to show how "informed" are your medias all of the stadiums and athletic establishments , the Olympic village , the Tram have been finished and are free to public this week . The only things left to do is the Beautification works (trees , flower et.c.) ... Disappointed , ha ?

Remember , Greeks always do their best the last moment ... like knocking out the hottest via a silver goal and finishing the Stadiums 20 days before the Olympics ...
