Just Regent. And after I posted the screenshot, they got the Trading Company and took Vietnam, and vassalized the Turkish and the Inca. They lost most of Europe to a collapse to core but are still going strong!
 
England collapses in the 15th century and (different game) Byzantine conquerors!
Also lost the picture of me conquering Lahore with Gur-e-Amir in it, which led to the interesting message pop up at the top of the screen that my soldiers looted Lahore and brought the culture to Lahore.

How did Byzantium make it till 1700? I find even if they're doing well they collapse regardless due to hardcoded stability hits.
 
There is no such thing as a hardcoded stability hit.

The most interesting part is that they lost Constantinople for a few turns and recaptured it which, if I recall correctly, diminishes their core only to Greece.
