The "OMG! Look what happened!" Thread

@ G-Max

Was that Babylonian game Warlords. I see you opened a thread that is for warlords. It maybe is possible that the Capital can declare independence.

So, is this what we can call "lands near Dublin"?

Obviously, Scotireland is one country. It is known.

Apparently there is a Celtic Union already. From what little information i know about it,i think it wants independence for all Celtic countries (Scotland,Ireland,Wales,Isle of Man,Cornwall and Brittany) and to possibly unite them.

But i'm probably wrong.Very wrong.

The pointlessness of this would even be doubled if they declared Manx their desired official language :D

Err...what about "Unbritish United Kingdom"? (UUK for abbreviation)
Actually, funnily enough, the 2 tiles from Dublin is apparently a smaller distance than the 1 tile from Manchester.

Yea, only 100 proficient speakers

They have managed to revive Hebrew as a working language and nowadays mother tongue of millions of people. I don't think there's willpower to replace English by Irish Gaelic in Ireland though. If they really wanted to it was possible though.
In Israel they have used the right propaganda (to label Yiddish, the biggest language, as a 'Holocaust language' for starters) and because there were many different languages spoken to ease the promotion of modern Hebrew. Also, the newly proclaimed state needed a new identity, and their religion aided in this, but also the hostility of its neighbours.

Yes. I have Warlords but not BtS.

"UnEngish" is better than "UnBritish" because "Britain" includes Scotland and Wales by definition.

Ouch. Mea Culpa.

British is too much a synonym for English. They certainly have hi-jacked the brand-mark of Britannia. Just look at the cars of UK residents, they all have a GB sticker, not a UK one. This, and more of this totum pro parte behaviour, is why Irish refuse calling themselves British.

Speaking about Russia, has anyone ever had all of the Russian empire, from Poland to Alaska?

Once upon a time. But it was like two years ago, back when I didn't know RFC had additional patches.
