Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. That's not only dumb but also a-historical. No nation ever hated another nation just for the sake of hating it. Either admit your vendetta against me is personal (as I suspect it is) or show this thread one logical reason your nation would hate my nation for a continued period of time such as 400 years, especially when I've had little to no contact with it.

As for my direct democracy, I make no excuses, I'm here to win, ain't we all ? Not everyone has to agree with my methods but we are playing a game and I have clear set objectives in this game. Of course I'm going to use any means at my disposal to achieve said objectives.

And no I'm not after the world... Just a significant physical and ideological part of it.

I was half poking fun, half serious because my people are, as das pointed out, quite xenophobic and so it isn't at all ahistorical. They have bad memories of the other Greeks and a vague disdain for more or less everything/everyone else.

Anyway, I suppose a sort of dry humour isn't terribly easy to convey online. I had assumed a random person attacking you for no apparent reason would seem at least a little bit out of place, but since it was not taken as intended, I am sorry for the confusion.
