3 churches?? this is your impression of byzantine architecture?? where are the palaces, rich man houses, town towers, granaries, town halls, forums, citadels, baths, etc. i think this would be representative for a town...study a little the problem..do not be superficial !!

edit: also try not to use a thirteen west european castle for the byzantines...use towers from the citadel of thessaloniki....

or you could use the celbrated pentagonal towers of the ancyra citadel .... a byzantine invention, maybe of arab influence....
