I heard that alcoholism and susceptability to it is pretty much universal to Native American tribes as well as the native tribes of Siberia. Pretty much has to do with the fact that for thousands of years they had very limited access to alcohol, so they have almost no inherited tolerance.
This is what I heard though, so please correct me anywhere I need to be.
Do other Indians find the word Indian acceptable? I've seen too many places where there seems to be an insistence on "
native American".
I can't tell you specifically but you need something heat-resistant. My idea was Gorilla glue, but it says that it works optimally up to 130F. I cant tell if thats when applying or when its bonded, but Id rather you not risk a fire.I have this oil warmer thingy. It looks nothing like this picture but it's the same principle: You pour some water and some oil into the bowl on top and put a small candle inside. The heat diffuses the oil into the air.
It's cracked, so the water leaks through the crack and makes a damn mess and drains the bowl too quickly. I've improvised, using a small "bowl" formed from aluminum foil that sits in the main bowl, but it's a pain to use.
I want to actually seal the crack, but I don't know what type of glue to use. It needs to hold up even when subjected to boiling water (inside) and open flame (outside, albeit about an inch from the top of the visible flame).
What kind of glue can meet my needs???

Where does one get things laminated? Like for id cards?
What's the warmer made out of? I assume its ceramic.
I'ld fix the burner with epoxy. Glue or filler, whatever's to hand. Ensure minimal excess epoxy from repair. Leave for of good few days to set, ideally a week. Then burn out a nightlight or two in it somewhere well ventilated. Either it works or it doesnt.
Silicone sealant should work. It's clear too so it probably won't be too ugly.
