I would say that seems way too low; most people succeed at doing things of about their skill level, most of the time.

What should the probability of success be for a average skilled player faced with an average difficulty task?
Should it be 50-50? My gut feeling tells me that 50-50 is too obvious of an answer, but I could be over analyzing it.
