For me, it's simply the fact my sister and cousin rave about her. Oh, and my only RL friend(who's a BOY!) also raves about her. Being constantly surrounded by her has made her my "Favorite" musician in my cousin's words.

It's akin to my hate for Poland stemming simply from the fact people make such a big deal about it.
 
Everytime it's name is spoken aloud it grates on my nerves like screech of nails against a chalkboard and drives me to a murderous rage. Also its liked by teenage girls which should be reason enough to hate it.
 
Ahhhh yes. Just like Twilight. I was dragged to the theater at gunpoint to see New Moon. I was very quickly annoyed by the constant "woooo!" that the crowd would let out upon seeing a boy remove his shirt. And since every boy in the movie is removing their shirts 24/7... :mad:

...Not that I'll complain about that, but the fact I have a facade of straightness and the girls were annoying the crap out of me... :gripe:

Why is Twilight so popular?
 
You guys are dismissing Lady Gaga too easily just because of her popularity. Poker Face is really good. I like it. Can't say I enjoy much of her other stuff though. I've seen her interviewed twice on Jonathan Ross and she seems like a decent person.
 
Are there any modernized re-imaginings of medieval Christian demonology out there? You know, maybe make Lucifer the President of Hell, Beelzebub as Prime Minister or Senator (I think Hell would be more of a republic than any kind of dictatorship anyway.), the legions as Fireteams (oh a pun) or Corps or whatever?

...Oddly enough, it takes more than softcore porn to get me to enjoy something. :p I don't care much for vampires in particular.

For my fellow midwesterners. How soon do you think the lakes will be warm enough for me to take my doggie to the city's public lake and let her cavort in the water?
 
Thank you :). Normally, I don't think I'd hesitate to take her in Mid-March, but we have a much cooler than normal February, and I just don't know how long a big body of water takes to start warming up.
 
How do I get mustard off a hot dog? I considered using water but I think it would make a mess. (It makes me sick. At a fast-food place I said "only ketchup" but they also put mustard on it. I didn't notice until I got home.)

EDIT: Also, earlier I told my mom I was hungry and she gave me a tin of cat food. Why?
 
Go back to the place you got it and tell them you want a hotdog with no mustard.
 
VRWC, there's a very simple test to determine if the water is warm enough. See if your dog is willing to go into the lake. She'll know.
