Problems seem to be fixed now, because of the ISP change over with the config system, thx for letting us know Thunderfall.
Forums are loading very slow (10/30sc to a few minutes). A basic tracert shows from my places (office/home, both in France) to the forum that the forum traffic goes mostly though Cogent after leaving the ISP. And the tracert takes forever (when it doesn't timeout) to survive the Cogent part of the travel.

It's not related to ads, because the slowdown occurs long before the ads are even given a chance to load. It's slow just connecting to the site in the first place.
I assume db problems again.
EDIT: It's slow even to load that attachment, which is just a picture, so it's definitely a problem with CFC.

This is the worst slow down I have ever faced.
Both the trace and the ping to Civfanatics seems to work fine from my side. What takes long seem to be all the scripts in the clientscript folder. Opening them as text in a new tab takes very long so it is not the execution but the server providing them that takes all the time.
Other objects load very fast (that might be caching though).

I vote "until right about now". It's slow enough I decided to manually quote you rather than using the actual quote feature because that would require an additional page load.
It does make me wonder if there isn't a better server provider, since this isn't the first time CFC has had a mass slowdown.

Our host fixed some issues. Apparently they moved to different ISP over the weekend and server had some config issue. It should be good now.
