I don't know why I bother with this forum when it is so slow, since there isn't enough worthwhile content worth waiting upwards of several minutes for it to load.

New advertiser causing the slow down? It's sunday, I believe new advertissments kick in on sundays usually.
I wasn't aware a site could get this slow without completely coming offline. Takes 2-3 minutes sometimes to load a page. Good thing CiV mods are increasingly being uploaded on the Steam Workshop where I can actually get to them, because this is happening more and more.

Does anyone know what's causing this? Server? New ads? Wizards? Because fixing this should be a high priority.

Now that you mentioned that, I noticed that there is no ad banner at the top of the page (or on occasions no ad banner at the bottom) Could this be another case of a deadlink site like that bookonile.info (or something like that)?
