Maybe your dream of the black hands is an allusion to a past/concurrent wish to be part of two catoptric forms of a (serbian) 'terrorist' group ;)

Afterall, Kosovo is a known euro capital of organ trafficing, which ties with the rest of that vision...(nurses and parts). Thus the terrorist group and its catoptrism, also double as anti-terror groups.

So four forms of the same object. This was your dream of yesterday, so only a bit after you posted in the number thread about i^2= -1 :p

It could also mean that you're about get something "special" from a black woman over the holidays....
Could be. Frankly, though, I think it unlikely.

Hmm. I did think about the Black Hand Society.

That's a bit obvious for a dream though, isn't it? I mean this is my dream I've been talking about. Historically noted for being bizarrely incomprehensible, in my experience.

No.

Isn't it possible that I'm feeling subconsciously guilty about typing so much on CFC? Or typing so much rubbish.

To the extent my hands will drop off with the shame of it?

edit: but why, pray, "catoptric"?

Better, as long as he doesn't actively defend Christianity or Catholicism.

I don't believe he does, but it's been a very long time since I've read it. He probably uses some Christian hermaneutic approaches that may or may not have counterparts in Jewish interpretive tradition. I'd look at it for yourself before making a call.

noun ( used with a singular verb )
the branch of optics dealing with the formation of images by mirrors.
Origin:
1560–70; < Greek katoptrikós, equivalent to kátoptr ( on ) mirror ( kat- cat- + op- see + -tron suffix of instruments) + -ikos -ic; see -ics

If you place one of your hands directly in front and parallel to the other one, any of the two is the catoptric (mirror) image of the other by and large. So this makes them a double version of potentially the same object. Along with their opposite in the dream (which seems to be some sort of binary or other body part transformation) they form all possible views of an object along with a mirror (1) the mirror image of it, 2) the anti-catoptric image of it, if you use another mirror, 3) the second type of anti-catoptric image of it, now without using a mirror, if you are the observer and don't see it through the mirror but are on the side of it the mirror is, 4) the actual image of it from a hypothetical own-view which does not exist, and would be anti-catoptric without any mirrors).

So, actually, that was a quite cool dream. And you are right to claim that it had other meanings too, cause dreams always are amalgams of many meanings. But it seems to be true that they always include a meaning which can be observed by others as well, regardless if it is one of small significance or central to the dream :)

Is it possible for an African-American or related descendant have dark skin, yet have naturally red hair, like an Irish person? (Eg, someone procreated with an Irish person at some point in their genetic lineage, for example?) If so, any real life instances in history or the modern era?

Google has this

Can't vouch for it's accuracy.

If a package arrives and it's meant for someone else entirely, but still at the same residence (such as a relative or roommate), is one supposed to sign their name for the delivery person even though the intended recipient is away at the time?

If it's just a standard delivery, yes. The signature is just to signify that the residence did indeed receive the package.

And if they inadvertently decline the signature request?

Then the recipient is supposed to go to the depot and collect the package themselves? Or rearrange delivery?

But who "inadvertently" declined? What does it mean? Did you, Mr PE, refuse to sign for the package? Or did the delivery person refuse to accept your offer to sign for someone else?

I don't see how either could be described as inadvertent. Unless Mr PE refused to sign not realizing he could legitimately do so?

Well, I wouldn't worry about it, Mr PE. Did they leave a card saying they'd tried to deliver it?

Then there'll be instructions on it about collecting the package from the depot or rearranging delivery. Unless I'm greatly mistaken.

It's no big deal.

Even though they left the packages at the door anyway?
