If a thing is too tiny to tie
In a knot, it is not something I
Would incline to define
As an instance of twine.
It's but midway there; it's but a twi.
How small can a thing be and be
A string? Modern physics says, "wee."
Under mesons and all,
The thing that's most small
Is a string, or so goes the theory.
I'm thinking of making limericks my signature posting style.
There was a young poster called Grey,
Whose poems were good, so they say.
He could tangle a rhyme,
Make you gasp every time;
A marvel! That poster called Grey.
I suspect I could, but I don't know how I could post it. A mere picture of it would not suffice because somehow the point of the ode would be for the reader to eat it while reading it.
