Anyone know of any open-world games with missions in which the ability to prepare for the mission beforehand (like say parking a helicopter at a getaway zone) plays a major role?
Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City spring to mind.
I'll be back.
Please tell me you said that in a thick Central-European accent while wearing square sunglasses, out loud, while typing it.

Seven years older than seven years ago.

Takh was in Argentina seven years ago, and IIRC he moved to Argentina for tertiary education (because there's no other reason anyone move to Argentina), so he would be at least 18 seven years ago, meaning he's now a venerable 25.

Do I get a prize?

Hrrm, but Tak is precocious. Maybe he started tertiary at 7.

I can confirm that Tak is a boy-genius beef eating (grammar)nazi tango dancer.

I've actually got a cold right now, so no leather clothing for now, but it does mean that I have a very deep and sinister tone in my voice. It works.

Been outside shoveling too much snow?

Whatever equivalent of the raspberry awards for online guessing exists, you should get it.

My superiority over the rest of humanity is not that noticeable. I take great care to pretend to be a loser so that others aren't humbled by my Presence.
He might be a Nazi refugee.

So, that was you last night?

Leather clothing helps keep you warm!

Nothing that can be cured with a few doses of vodka, if that is indeed the case.

Do other countries have an equivalent of the sovereign citizen movement?

Yes - we have them here in Ireland.
They are known as Freemen.
One of the prerequisite seems to be owing more money than they can pay back and / or not liking to pay taxes. Drawing social welfare from the same state doesn't seem to be an issue.

They make up nonsense about mortgages or court orders not being legitimate and then gather a mob when a bank tries to repossess a property. The bailiff arrives, sees the mob and then backs off and the mob claim a great victory for Freemanism (although they never call it freemanism). Once the mob is gone the bailiff comes back and the people get kicked out.

If you want to waste twenty minutes of your life have a look at this:

Link to video.
Skip to half way through for a flavour of the nonsense.

The guy in the video stood for the European parliament last year and got 1.19%.

I first learned about them few months ago, when two converts got some time on a local TV channel. I haven't laughed so much in years. They became an insta-hit in my office.

Well, I don't know.

If you don't want to repay a mortgage, don't take one out in the first place.

Still, it was worth a try, I suppose.

Can anyone suggest any more current affairs publications with online presences? Stuff in the vein of The Atlantic, The Economist, New York Times, Foreign Affairs, etc. I find that I need more sometimes. Geopolitics for the geopolitics god, socioeconomics for the socioeconomic throne and all that.

The Independent might just be your cup of tea, Mr. ICBM.

That's not very nice.
I hope you know me well enough to realise how much of a jokester I can be, but your guess was sooo far off that I couldn't help myself.
